***Official Cornell Class of 2016 Spring Transfer Thread

:frowning: I don’t think we’ll be hearing back today.

@Caintpau I think you’re right. I’m on Central Time so I assume that if I haven’t heard anything by 4:00pm then I won’t be until the following day, because I would assume the office probably closes at 5:00pm.

Can any of you log into housing with this link?: I cannot, but I think if you’re able to that’s a good sign of an acceptance to come. https://living.sas.cornell.edu/live/apply/housing-portal-login.cfm

I called last week, and they told me they’re going to send admission letters between the 17 and 24 of this month. Hopefully, we’ll find out sooner than later. I can’t stop checking my email haha

@Caintpau agree :frowning:

I just found this transfer thread and dont know how i missed it because Ive read through several other CC posts from past years. I am applying to ILR from Community College in NC about a 3.7 GPA and decent extra curr.

@doctortillman what came up when you tried to sign into the housing? I just tried your link provided

Welcome @carolina17

“Either your session has timed out or you are not currently logged in” is what comes up for me.

yeah thats what came up for me too. Hopefully we hear back within the week.

@carolina17 I’m getting that too. I’m sure one of us getting that message will get in, so I’m not sure if it’s at all reliable. Still worth the daily try though.

@GoldMouse123 where did you call exactly? General admissions or your designated college?

@GoldMouse123 Which school did you call?

I can no longer log into my fin aid to-do list
do you think that’s a bad sign? :frowning:

Nvmd it works again. It was just my phone glitching

^Hey man! Good to see a fellow Northwestern reject here :). Let’s hope we have better luck with Cornell!. Btw the Chinese department at my school has a foreign exchange trip Chengdu I really wanted to go on :). It’s cool you’re from there!

@cahanks @Hotelieeeeee I called ILR and they transferred me to general admissions!

@GoldMouse123 What does that mean?

Man
reading the past Spring transfer threads is like walking through an Arts and Sciences graveyard :(. In Fall 2011, 99/~1300+ got into CAS with a ~7.6% acceptance rate. CALS is significantly higher at nearly 50%.

I think @GoldMouse123 means that they called the ILR office, who then transferred their call to general admissions! (?) @ILRTransfer16

Cool~ Chengdu is a nice city with a moderate and relaxing lifestyle. You will certainly enjoy it if you come! ;:wink:

One of my IDOC forms has been denied like 5 times. Ugh. Does anybody know the deadline for IDOC forms? I feel like I missed it
