if u looked at my previous posts, my history teacher ( a "connected" or so he says, alumnus and interviewer of Gtown).

He told me decisions will be done by Dec 1st, tommorow, and he will find out between wed and friday for the kids in our school... And no this doesnt appy to every interviewer...this is only what he said about himself

thats fine, think what you want, this is what i was told and i seem to think my teacher is telling the truth.....No it isn't a breach, he personally knows one of the directors of admissions, if he tells any of us then it is a "breach".....im not boasting or anything by saying he has connections, i do not think im going to get in anyway

i try to live the pathway of virtue, so call me a liar anyway, but since all of u have ants in ur pants about knowing more Gtown admissions info, im telling u from my experience

Calm Down.

It is a breach. Only you and Georgetown should know whether you get in or not. It is your perogative to tell others (i.e. parents). Your teacher should only find out if you want him to.

If it was true, why would they wait to mail them almost two weeks? Use some common sense.

Calm down.

Hey. I think that Tony was just making a perfectly acceptable comment. He was just telling what he is told. And I know the kid isnt lieing and I doubt his teacher is either. I read somewhere that all interviewers (which his teacher is as well) find out whether or not the people they interviewed were admitted. This is not a "breach" if thats how the admissions office handles it.

thank you mike, and brenner, is it common sense or some generality that your making up? Im guessing you worked hand and hand to plan out the whole admissions procedure with Georgetown or?

Im pretty sure that most decisions have been made or will be done by the end of this week. We are supposed to be receiving our decisions by Mon. the 13 so Admissions has to get the letters in the mail by mid or late next week. So its really not two weeks later.

I feel you, babybird. I have sooo much homework and no motivation. And I somehow have to teach myself an entire ap macroeconomics unit tonight, because the teacher SUCKS and we have a test tomorrow... :(

Don't feel bad. I've been aimless for the past few weeks.. (on vacation, but still helping out with ROTC and student advising .. gah.. just today I had a parent conference in which I had to tell a frantic parent that her daughter was safe for college.. in Korean, too..

lol.. and I gave blood today too, so I feel a little woozy... )

"All first-year admissions decisions have now been sent to applicants.
AAP interviewers will receive notification of the decisions for their
applicants in the mail within the next few days. More information about
the applicant pool in general can be found in the AAP Newsletter.
If you do not receive your decision roster or you have questions about
the roster, please contact the admissions office at (202) 687-3600 and
ask to speak with your regional representative."

So is it really going to be before Dec 15th? I just looked at the website and it said decisions would be received BY Dec 15th, which makes me think we'll be getting them around the 13th or so. And if what Mike said is true...

What do you all think? (BTW, if it is the 13th, then just 12 more days...)
