<p>hello everyone. i just joined CC recently. i wish i knew abt this site/haas discussion before…now i’m getting addicted. i can’t focus on my research papers bec. i can’t wait for the 30th…grrr 
too many life decisions depend on my application as well.</p>
<p>well i’m sure everyone who applied to haas and were actually eligible (completed all prereqs and breadth) are all excellent candidates. and if we don’t get into haas we’ll surely get into other bschools. so it’s not like our life depends on this lol. keep working hard, keep competing, and never give up. if you do that, u will succeed in business</p>

<p>Actually, in my case, many life decisions depend on my application. 1) I didn’t apply to any other schools (why? because my ex & I have a shared custody, can’t move far) 2) Our lease is good until the end of June. If I get into Berkeley, then my boyfriend & I will move closer to Cal (also, he just got laid off from work <em>sad</em>) & will be a longer drive to pick-up/drop off my son 3) I’d need to take an unpaid leave of absence from work (that is if I don’t get laid off in June, next lay-off window). It’s better to leave when there’s a severance package involved 4) If get in, I have no FA since I don’t qualify for anything 5) If I don’t get in, then I’ll apply for a management job again before I get laid off in June or September as an occupational…and so on & so forth…that’s what makes me unique…I’m one of the non-traditional transfer students (other word, older hahaha). Sorry for venting…I’m just so overwhelmed lately. I survived the last lay-off from work but if I knew UCB’s response already, I could’ve volunteered to leave & got extra $.</p>
