Official Fall 2014 Decisions Thread

Still haven’t heard back yet — from eastern Washington. I was hoping to hear back today since people on the east coast are already receiving their letters. So nervous… :-S I really hope my Running Start status + honors courses gave a boost to my chances. I’ve heard UW likes RS kids a lot, hopefully it’s true? Haha :stuck_out_tongue: Congratulations to everyone who got in, btw!

received my acceptance letter today! i’m from CA! i’ve already been accepted to Cal Poly SLO, UCSB, UCD, and UCSD! good luck to all :)

Do you guys know if UW send their admissions letters in batches? Cause I live 30min away from Seattle and everyone I know received their rejection/acceptance letters on the 15th, yet I’ve still gotten no news… I’ve been hearing that it means that i’ve been waitlisted >< is that true?

Received small enveloper today in NorCal, almost missed it - Not selected.
But that was right after Acceptance by UC Santa Barbara and only UCLA or Cal can beat that. All other admissions/denials don’t matter any more. Good luck to all!

I got in!!! I’m on the east side of Washington state

OOS Northern California - Accepted!

Congratulation to admitted students. my condolences for those who got rejected, but I am pretty sure that you have some other good Uni.'s to choose from.

Any internationals got acceptances/denials/waitlisted ???

Does UW send them all out on the 14th and 15th or how does that work? I’m confused why some people on the east coast, and in Houston would get it, but not me in Dallas? How do they organize their send outs? Thanks!

Husky95 — they send them in batches. First batch was sent out March 15th.
They sent an email out a while ago, maybe this’ll help…

“We make every effort to send decision letters as early as possible in that two-week period, but we need most of the time to mail them all. Also, because it’s postal mail, we can’t control exactly when your letter will arrive. That’s why we say March 15-31.”

The BIG envelope arrived today- in Northern Virginia. EAST COAST! Can’t believe it’s so fast.

I live about 40 miles south of UW and most of my friends got their acceptance letters on Saturday and I have to get mine. AND… The unofficial transcript trick did not work. :((

I just checked my transcript and it worked!!! Then I ran down to the mail box and I got my acceptance letter!!!

Ahh! The unofficial transcript just loaded for me! Does this mean I’m in?! I’m an applicant from CA.

Edit: I haven’t gotten anything in the mail, though.

Can anyone confirm transcripts working

I received my acceptance letter today and my unofficial transcript now loads.

MY TRANSCRIPT LOADS OH MY GOD SO RELIVED no letter yet though

If your transcript loads, its pretty much a guarantee that you are in, as they now register you with their system for grading purposes.

Any Comp Sci majors here?

@UniversityHugger you couldn’t have made it any clearer. Think I saw you in a UC thread, I’m not sure

FYI, I received my acceptance today and my transcript loaded. Good luck!

Hi, international student from Malaysia here. I have not received any email and the transcript trick does not work. Any idea when will I receive the email or postal mail?
