I have not yet received any information.

Still nada from Yale. Has anyone received something yet?

Just found this link: <a href=“Transfer Application News & Notes | Yale College Undergraduate Admissions”>Transfer Application News & Notes | Yale College Undergraduate Admissions;
it says we will be notified via email in early April if any documents are missing from our file.

I applied as well- currently a sophomore at a public school. Applied as a freshman to Yale, waitlisted and didn’t get in. It’s been my dream school since I was about 10, so while I know my chances aren’t good, I can’t let it go and decided to give it another shot :)

Also, yeah- I haven’t received anything either and it looks like we won’t get any emails from them. Hopefully my college transcript got there, I’ve been having bad luck with my transcripts getting places!

Hey all,

I’ve also applied to transfer. I received an email today saying that transfer students do NOT get ELI accounts, so it looks like we’ll be relying on email and phone calls.

Has anyone tried calling the Admissions Office to check the time frame for decisions? I am an international applicant and therefore am aversive to exorbitant tariffs.

It would have been very helpful if they posted on the website or emailed us the decision time frame. The wait is literally killing me. :(

I’ve heard mid to late May? But I haven’t contacted Admissions, just have heard that…somewhere.

Also, last year (I just checked last year’s transfer thread on here), decisions came out May 9.

does anyone know when decisions are released?

^Read the post above yours. Unlike stocks, past performance is often the best predictor of future results when it comes to when decisions are released.

Just called Admissions. They said May 9.

@ILikeCheesenWine Are you sure its May 9???

@Cyrano723 that’s what they told me on the phone. You can call and ask yourself if you’d like

Just called to confirm. They said tomorrow for sure. Didn’t know what time though.

So Y and H do still release decisions on the same day.

do you guys know how they’re going to release decisions (e-mail, call, USPS letter, etc.)? I know this is pathetic, but I have finals until next tuesday and i don’t want to look until finals are over lol

Just received my decition via email!

Just got my rejection. Dang! No one would understand how much I wanted Y. :((

Good luck to the rest. I would love to know how many transfers did they accept this year?

Rejected.

Rejection. Of 1100 they have to reject 1070. Probably at least half of the applicants have great determinations and are doing great so I really have nothing to complain. Congrats to those who get in!

It’s crazy how you know as soon as you see the email subject line you just know it wont go your way
