***Official January 2015 SAT (US ONLY) THREAD***

@glasshours I’m pretty sure (could be wrong) the paragraph was referring to the fact there are people who feel they can explore Mars. But then the author says the same people have unrealisti expectations…

Am i referring to the wrong question lol?

EDIT: talking about completely the wrong passage. Ignore :))

Also, did anyone get 1/pi for the ratio?

@glasshours‌ x>y is correct, since y<x was not an option.

What was the triangle the inscribed circle was it 6pi or 4.something pi

Doesn’t state they “should”. Just says some people do.

omitted the ratio question

Yeah @glasshours‌ thats what I got bro.
For my essay, I wrote about Emmett in the Lego movie and Harry potter when he teaches his friends D.A.T.D.A. Both of them were about how showing vulnerability takes more courage. Are those alright? I couldn’t think fast enough for a book I read in school.

@TheDesiBoy‌ - Yeah, wrong passage

for the last section writing was it “did not yet” or “had not yet”

@glasshours which one was the median question?

what is the gongho thing… in the passage about? which passage was it ? i cant remember

@ABCGIRL‌ I said A, i dont think it was either of those, because you cannot say had not yet proved and the other one didnt make sense to me.

The Median one was 3.1,3.4,4.1,4.1,4.1,5.1,5.1,5.1 firstly. Does this group of numbers have the same median, average, and mode as 3.1,3.4,4.1,4.1,4.1,5.1,5.1,5.1,5.1,5.1?

@ABCGIRL‌ - Did not yet, you can’t use “had”

@TheDesiBoy‌ - The plot with two more cars added, then it asked you if the median, mean, and mode stayed the same

@glasshours‌ sorry keep asking but what choice was that? for the “had”

why cant you use had?

Wait…was the mean/median/mode question “which stayed the same” or “which changed”?

i said only median stays the same

what about the very last “paragraph correction” question about which sentence should be added to the fourth paragraph?

@glasshours why is “had not yet” wrong
