***Official January 2015 SAT (US ONLY) THREAD***

I put exhortative for the short passage instead of measured. Anyone else?

laudatory right

Was the question with Brazil and the gold mines and stuff no error?

I thought it was “most talented…both” because it was three people in total. I thought more was used for two… the whole superlative gramamar rules or something

No error

Yeah I said laudatory for one of them

Anyone say measured?

Dictum was the right answer. That was one of the 50 words I actually studied right before the test.

Are you guys sure exhortative and measured were choices from the same question? I remember putting measured for one of the questions, and stumbling on another question that had exhortative.

Wouldn’t watercolor refer to the moss? Also what did you put for the one which asked “what do both authors do” it was for the music passage

@Mango920452‌ I said measured! I hope that was the right answer

The question about the area of the triangle/area of the entire circle, the answer was 1/pi, correct?

@Anonymouse3 it was dictum, if one knows latin they get that missive comes from mitto meaning to send and dictum comes from dico meaning to say

@Tennistiger‌ Yep!

Water color was obsidian I think. Most people say so.

Was the battle between the past and present and the author did not want to face reality?

Did anyone get the answer to the one where Pauline was ashamed about being obsessed with Nancy Drew or something? I said addicted to and evaded but I felt like none of the answer choices made sense

I put Past and present

Hey guys was the answer for that writing question compared to or than did

@Mango920452‌ I got that the author did not want to face reality.
