@cherrypop but why is it EXTENDED? (i pu the extended analogy choice, but im not sure about it)
Lol, did anyone else get the experimental passage about flightless birds? Such a bizarre passage, never had so much trouble getting through a CR passage in any of the practice tests. The questions were weird too, because if you got one wrong you would necessarily get its dependent question (where in the passage blah…) wrong as well.
guys what did u get for purpose of passages was it to form a historical connection or characterize a place
guys did any one of u request Q&S service for this test
what was #35 in writing?
I put characterize a place.
is characterize a place correct?
I put the one where it said…blah blah prophecy @jamanda
cuz the focus wasn’t so much on the place as it was on the historical aspect.
@Nerdboy98 I got to characterize a place
but how cuz the primary purpose seemed to fall more on the historical aspect than the place itself
@cherrypop It’s an extended analogy because the analogy goes on and on for a paragraph (ie when he talks about not wanting to wake up from the dream)
@ABCGIRL It’s extended because the sentence pretty much said that authencity is absolute and cannot be achieved. but he also added “a quest” at the end. So he pretty much put a parallel to the his statement (a quest cannot be achieved with absoluteness).
@ABCGIRL okay i put the last one it was like regardless of the bias there are some people who still do not vote but idk
Guys can someone explain why for purpose of passage historical thingy was wrong
@nerdboy98 I thought the purpose was characterizing the Basque country and the changes that eventually take place. It just happened to be very archaic in quality.
Can someone answer our question about #35 on the writing
