@HP2775 That would be awesome if they released them tomorrow on Friday! But I feel like it will be next week unfortunately haha.

I applied at GMU and VT as well, but JMU and VT are my top choices. I’ve already been accepted at VT so now I’m just waiting to hear from JMU. I half hope I don’t get in because I have no idea how I’m going to decide between the two lol.

@deedee917 hahaha yeah unfortunately, tomorrow sounds too good to be true. One can dream.
@chillerbee oh true…what’s your major?

@HP2775 But the thing is freshman are still getting accepted! Are they sending the decisions like in groups?

I applied to VT, JMU, and CNU. I got into VT but JMU is my top choice and CNU was my safety school but I don’t care about getting in there anymore.

@deedee917 really? Wow. Hmm maybe, either just cause or for computer-related reasons?

Looks like all the freshman have been notified or are about to be. Looks like our decisions are up to bat for next week, hopefully.

Fingers crossed.

This wait though

They’re keeping us on our toes

Around this time next week we’ll probably know our decisions!!

@HP2775 I’m majoring in Psychology. If I get accepted at JMU I’ll probably end up choosing which ever school offers the best financial aid package since I’ll have to get a Master’s degree as well lol. What are you majoring in?

@HopefulWaiting I sure hope so. Hopefully it doesn’t end up being like 2-3 weeks from now. That would be miserable.

@chillerbee true! Financial aid package is a good determinant. I was gonna do education, but then switched to business.

That would be so disappointing… I hope the admissions office keeps their word by releasing them sometime next week/ early the week after

Hey guys, I just logged into my madison and saw a “preliminary financial aid” link (but once i opened my preliminary financial aid package from last year 2013-2014 from JMU came up). Did any of you guys get the link?
Though I’m thinking it may have been a mistake from last year.

Hey guys! I am currently a freshman at Longwood University and applied for JMU transfer. I am from northern VA and applied last year as a senior with a 3.87 and 27 composite ACT score and was put on the wait list and eventually denied. You can never be too sure with what they are looking for but I am hoping this year I will have a bit more luck. I finished my first semester with a 3.64 so we will see what next week (hopefully) brings for me! Good luck to everyone else as well!!

Best of luck to you too, katy1995!

And to HP2775-everyone has that link on their profile, and when I clicked on it, it says that you are not able to view any financial aid until you have been admitted, so my thoughts are that your financial aid is posted from last year. I am still able to see my test scores that I sent last year so I think everything is just automatically saved to your profile.

Ohh okay, thanks @katy1995! Probably

@HP2775 Ahh, yeah, I’ve heard nothing but great things about their Business school. My friend graduated from their last year and he was offered a job 2 months before he graduated. You’ll probably have the same luck!

I just looked and I now have the prelimi
