nary financial aid link. I didn’t have it before.

@chillerbee danggg. That’s awesome! He’s in a good place compared to lots of other college graduates. Ohhh okay good to know

I was creeping on the last thread and people that were denied and admitted both had the preliminary financial aid link. :(

@katy1995 I’m a freshman at Longwood as well

Dang, I’m really nervous now. My gpa is not as good as everyone else.

@deedee917 what’s your gpa?

@HopefulWaiting Aw, darn! Lol. That reminds me, though, I was going to go back and see how many days passed between when regular applicants found out and when transfer applicants found out.

@HopefulWaiting aw man that’s so misleading hahah

@chillerbee Last year RD found out 3/21 and Transfer found out 4/10.

Thanks! I couldn’t find when regular applicants were notified lol. I saw that in 2012 transfers began to find out April 1-2, so that’s good.

@HopefulWaiting My first semester gpa at college is a 3.1

@deedee917 oh for real?? whats your major??

@katy1995 my major is CSDS

@deedee917 haha thats super weird, I was CSDS but I switched to liberal studies literally about 2 weeks ago

@katy1995 I know someone else who did that too!

@katy1995 my gpa in high school was 3.45 and first semester at longwood it was a 3.1 but by the looks of your stats I don’t have a chance :(

My high school GPA was horrendous, but my college GPA is a solid 3.2. From what I hear, the more college credits you have the better chance of transfer admission, but, with a solid high school transcript I beleive you have a great chance! Confidence!

Is anyone else anxious? I can’t stop thinking about how I’m going to react to the news.

I think it also depends on what classes you also took that first semester! Like taking a high math course, english, science with a lab, and social science. .

@WeWillSeeIGuess I’m anxious too it’s so distracting!..
At least we finally made it to the first week of April.

Does anyone know how much emphasis they put on the personal statement? My GPA is only like a 3.1 right now but I’ve completed 60 credits and taking more now… and by the end of this semester my GPA should rise to like 3.6 because of grade forgiveness (I’m retaking a couple classes I did badly in a few semesters back, but I’ve gotten all A’s since then). I mention this in my personal statement, which I feel is a pretty strong one. I’m just worried they will see my GPA and not even read the statement.

I’ve also taken credits in all of the core subjects, including LOTS of science (five 4-credit sciences, all A’s - applying to JMU b/c of their nursing program). Should I be worried? I know they say a 3.0 is “competitive” but I’m worrying myself to death over here.

Oh, the torture…
