*OFFICIAL* June 2012 ACT Science Section discussion

I remember 8000 being an answer to one of the last questions on the test.

Was that b?

I have no clue. I want to say C, because I think it went in order. Like:
A.) 0
B.) 5000
C.) 8000
D.) 10000

It was J.

10char

Crap, do you remember how many bs were in the last passage?

I have no idea how many B’s were in the last passage, but I think there was at least 3 or 4. I’m not 100% sure, though, I don’t really remember.

I’m not too sure, if anyone remembers a question from the last passage I may be able to remember, but otherwise I don’t look at the answer sheet for patterns.

for the heat, potential, force one or whatever, i had no idea. took ap chem this year, not ap phys. i guessed F. can anyone confirm that? also guessed A or F for 39. anyone else? rest of test was a breeze (besides science).

also for the one with SO4 and whatever…one of the answers i got was that “the second graph shows the reactants of AOM whereas the other graph shows something else”
something like that…

Last two were d and j. Anyone know 34-38?

I think the first one use direct result of aom and second one use indirect result of aom

What were the last five in terms of letters: i know the last one was j

@mathman R u sure the last two was D and J? what was number 39?

the last question was
C. 4000
D. 8000
pretty sure
cause i always guess C and H, and i remember having my answer as 4000

@joe, yes I know the last questions was 8000, the last choice; im talking bout number 39, since @mathman said that last two answers were D and J. I got curious about what number 39 is

do you guys remember the one question about gas giants asking if the statement would contradict which scientist? did any of you put that the statement would contradict neither scientist?

I think that one was scientist 2.
Don’t quote me, though.

OKAY GUYS, I’ve noticed that everyone is wondering what the curve will be like.

I have the ACT April test and scale in front of me right now and the scale is as follows:

36: 39-40
35: 38
34: 37
33: –
32: 36

And so on…

@blue, it was scientist 2. He claimed it will be maximum 7M_e or something like that k

do you guys think -1 will still be 36? i think it might because a lot of people will miss some of the questions that required previous science knowledge, such as the one about stars and terrestrial and gaseous planets

there was also ph knowledge as well as gravitational potential convert to kinetic energy and heat
