@julesrulesx3 were there choices about asian immigration? im trying to figure out what i wrote but i dont quite recall the other choices

@hopeisbeauty‌ I don’t think so…there was something that said it restricted immigration for10 yrs

Does anyone remember the answer choices to the one asking what wasn’t associated to the burnt over district? Ik the answer is decline in federalism but I’m trying to remember the other ones

And for the black v. White percent pic, I think I put the choice comparing two regions ( something and maybe midwest?) Bc the west had a high slave population too

the answer for that was that the most seccsionist states had a higher percentage.

@Dilan412‌ I mightve put that, I just don’t remember bc idk the other answer choices

Again with the burned over district question, which was the answer? (associated with burned over district EXCEPT: )

I said Erie Canal, but I’m pretty sure that I’m wrong. Damn. I got like 12 wrong. Is that still good?

12 incorrect is still pretty good! Based on past curves that’d be a 770.

Would -15 still be 750+ ?
Haha there’s still about 40 questions that we haven’t covered so…

I put something about manufacturing for the burned district one…

The burned over district one was something about federalism 'cause the federalist party was long defunct by the Second Great Awakening. And @julesrulesx3 -15 would be like maybe a 740 or 750? I missed 12 or 13 last time and it was a 760, hoping for an 770+ this time fingers crossed.

Oh and the question that had the graph and asked something about canals and whatever was railroads because my the time the graph started declining railroads were the major transport force. The canal boom was between 1812-1840 but it was done by then. Railroads however started to become a major force around the late 1830s.

Kaplan says -15 is a 760 but their tests were harder. I was aiming for 770+ but now I would be happy with anything 750 and over lol
Are there any questions left that we haven’t talked ab

@julesrulesx3 -15 is a 740 according to CB.

It could be lower than that bc this test was “easy” right?

I guess no one is talking an the rest of the test bc the other questions were easy

@IlariaCaelestis‌ I don’t quite remember the question, but New Orleans transport was heavily impacted by canals. Once people realized that there was another route that is cheaper, they chose canals.

The railroad business wasn’t huge until after the Civil War. 1860’s was when they flourished. Yes, they started building railroads in 1830’s, but they weren’t the driving force behind cheaper transportation.

By 1850, only 9,000 miles of track was laid down. That’s not that much. It’s like 3% of the width of America. What impact would that have?

<a href=“History of rail transportation in the United States - Wikipedia”>http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_rail_transport_in_the_United_States

That’s the source

I said it was canals bc new orleans was used to export goods from the south to up north. Railroads usually only traveled from east to west. The rise of canal north in new york would compete w new orleans…making it decline

@julesrulesx3 possibly, but I honestly thought the CB released exams were much easier than the actual test.
