im so upset i wish i had more time for the math sections!!

how many can someone omit and get wrong to get atleast a 600????

im so upset i wish i had more time for the math sections!!

how many can someone omit and get wrong to get atleast a 600????

I sincerely hope so, that will account for 1 stupid mistake I have undoubtedly made.

cats...its 195

Yes, the answer WAS 195.
I'm certain because I remember the whole problem lol.
35 people bought 2 books.
5 people bought 3 books.
Therefore, 110 people bought 1 book.
110+70+15 = 195 books in all.

yea catalysis is right
i remember the question
wow u have a good memory

UPDATED LIST

Multiple Choice:

- graph w/ positive slope: I. a>0 & III. a>b
- average rate: 13.3
- (1/3)^-x + (1/3)^-y: 4/9
- total number of books: 195

- x+y=20: 12
- line of reflection: Point A
- 3:2 ratio of boys and girls: 11th grade
- equilateral triangle with bisector: 30 degrees

- last question: 256
- greatest distance: 14
- difference in dollars: 1200
- length of triangle side: 8
- 0.25x=15: 60

there was also a question w/ a circle and a triangle ... and they asked for a side

does anyone remember thatt ?? they gave the radius of the circle .. and u had to find hte other leg which was outside of the circle ...

Yes, that's the 5th one listed under the grid-in. Well, I think that's the one you're talking about. Was it the one where it said the radius was 6 and the line outside the circle was tangent at exactly one point? Ohh wait... Was that a multiple choice or grid-in? I really don't remember.

idk whether it was grid in or wat ...i think it was a multiple choice .. not suree =/ ...

and wat was the y intercept question ??? was that the one with the function ?? ?

Wait, so what's the general consensus on the computer chip? There's still a lot of dissent.

128 or 256?

256 - several people worked it out on page 10 of this thread.

sheena, I remember that question myself. I believe I had to guess on it because I ran out of time and couldn't work it out fully

"does anyone remember thatt ?? they gave the radius of the circle .. and u had to find hte other leg which was outside of the circle ..."

I'm not POSITIVE if this is the question you're talking about, but I do remember one that was multiple choice.
I think the answer was squareroot of180, which simplified to 6squareroot of 5.
That might be a different question though haha.

that was a different question, but I did get a 6 times squareroot of 5 for one question

hey what was the exact question for number sequence, with the answer as 103?

i'm totally blanking and am not sure if i even had that question.

oh yeahh catalysis its like 12 and then one side is 6 then you find the hypotenuse. wooottt

3 8 13 18 ...

Every term in the sequence is 5 greater than the preceding term. What is the value of the first term that is greater than 100? Or something like that... I believe the answer choices were 101, 102, 103, 104, 105. I don't really remember though.

it was 103

^I know, I was just giving the problem for VPof09.

whats the y intercept question ??????????????? can someone answer me plz
