From what I hear Mason is a good teacher, most people complain more with the foreign teachers for 4AG. Either way though, I must demolish it with an A or I’ll never forgive myself :P</p>

<p>Hey guys I have a question. I have a 3.1 GPA right now after my first semester and I would really like to apply to the honors program. I understand the requirement is 3.2… if I can get an A in just one class for my winter intersession, that would bring me up to beyond a 3.2</p>
<p>Would I be able to register for honors classes during the spring? Because registration is like, in the middle of winter interession if I remember correctly… my grade will not have come out yet. How would that work out?</p>
<p>You may be able to get a provisional acceptance. Best bet is to talk to Carolyn Kyukendall and ask her. Just so you know though, if Spring is only your second semester you’ll have a hard time getting into an honors class without priority. They fill up ridiculously fast, ask anyone here.</p>
<p>what jet said lol. and honors will be difficult to get. prepare for lots of going onto myportal. lets see…carolyn helped me get 2 of my FIRST honors classes by sticking me in one on the roster from her comp and teaching eng1CH herself. shes is a life saver. </p>
<p>but keep in mind, this was also when honors wasnt as popular as it is now. if you show that you are getting an A during winter and you get signed off by your prof, she will most likely accept you.</p>
