I can’t wait for tomorrow, Winter and break have been tediously boring. Bring on math and science ;|

Dainese, thanks for the help, once again.
What would you guys say are some easy A courses? I know the teacher plays a big role, but I’m just curious, and hopefully I can make some of these courses fit into my schedule.
Also, what are the difficult courses? I know sometimes you can’t always avoid them, but I will be trying my best to avoid them, as my GPA doesn’t want to get hurt.

@jetlogic: Agreed! haha Winter and break have been boring and a drag. Spring should have started earlier smh

almost 3 months of being unproductive…I’m very glad Spring starts tomorrow.

Hope everyone do well… :)

@uschopeful - theres a lot of easier classes to list…maybe you should narrow it down to subject or area on IGETC.

to name a few…history of jazz with mcintosh, history of rock with carroll, sociology with lukenbill.

@everyone else - best of luck this semester, kill it!
worse part about spring semester… no spring break, but on the bright side, its usually always your last semester before you transfer off!

does anybody know how many tests there are in a full semester of calculus 1?

@jibarra47 Usually 3, plus the final so 4. And I’m assuming you meant Math 180.

Hmm my first class is at 9:50 AM tomorrow, how early should I be on campus to get parking? PS anyone see the new parking permits yet? Purple on silver, I like.

My first week rule of thumb is an hour early

yup that was my rule of thumb as well, i lived 5 minutes from campus too.
parking is so horrendous. PARKING STRUCTURE NEEDED

we don’t need the permit the first week right?

first 2 weeks, just dont illegally park. meters still need to be fed, always
they say they give you some sort of understanding, but they ticket illegal parking usually after the 1st week.

avoid it though…really tempting i know.

and your first parking ticket is waivable if you just go to the parking ticket building and say this is my first ticket, can i get it waived? and bam. you can thank me later lol

haha yeah i remember my first day i showed up and its bumper to bumper on the red painted curbs ROFL

but yea thanks for the advice on waiving it

yea it gets pretty damn bad. fire hazard to the max lol

honestly mtsac invests so much money into making more buildings when it really needs a parking structure. who wants to walk across the street from the F lot??? F that.

mtsac makes you work out.
they dont allow longboarding, bikes, scooters. jeez.
wait till you transfer, you will love it.

i longboard across USC in like 2 minutes, but walk it in like…15-20

Anyone need the Spch 1A book From Fright to Might $25, let me know.

I have a Growth Through Fiction ENGL1A book in new condition if anyone is looking.

btw can anyone just go up and post book ads on the boards outside the classrooms? or do u need permission

you can post book ads, but id post them on the walls not the doors.

you can also ask the prof to see if you can make a quick announcement to the class to try to sell your book really quick. :)

2 of my friends lost their important class just from not getting parking.
get there early and pay your fees dudes/dudettes

Does anyone know if MasteringChemistry/MasteringPhysics access codes can be bought in the bookstore? (Without buying the book)

Anyone have experience with CampusBookRentals.com? I’m finding a cheaper price on there than chegg’s

hey guys i have a quick question if i decide to drop a class will i get my $$ back if i drop b4 march 11, 2011?? thats the date under refund deadline for those classes. and if so do they automatically return money directly to bank or is there a process behind it all??

if you drop you just get refunded your money in which ever way you paid. whether it be cash, credit, etc.

and yes you get a full refund as long as it says so. im not acquainted with mtsac drop dates anymore but assuming that since the semester jsut started you are probably fine.

:)
