<p>I emailed Northwestern asking when the decisions will be released… That’s what Northwestern replied: </p>
<p>"Applicants will receive an application decision by mid-December. We will notify applicants of their decision via e-mail and postal mail. "</p>
<p>I am guessing it’s on the 15th no? 12th? 11th?</p>
<p>It has to be by the 15th. So I guess within 9 days, huh? Scary!!! </p>

Weighted GPA Unknown- my high school doesn’t release these, but I have taken 9 aps (all 5’s so far) and 10 honors so I would imagine my weighted would be well over a 4.0. On the UC application, my gpa translates to a 4.4 weighted gpa. </p>

Varsity policy debate member, Speaker for MADD, Intern for state senator, big DFL volunteer, won a few state awards for my volunteer work and activism. Free tutor for low-income families in my community, job as paid teacher for after school classes for advanced students in the district. NHS, link crew, etc.</p>

<p>Guys I got a purple envelope today and I about lost it. Well technically my parents got it but it was just telling them about the financial aid program and how much it will cost if I got into Northwestern. Ironically, I got the same kind of letter from my safety school, The University of Miami today too. But those are two schools I applied to through the Common App. But did anyone else get that?? I just really need an acceptance letter. Like yesterday!!</p>

<p>I think international students don’t get much stuff from the school as much as the US residents</p>
<p>I honestly wouldn’t be paranoid. I get letters from a lot of different school and they just send them to get their name out. When you apply to the school they take your info so they can send you letters and e-mails to increase interest</p>
<p>Guess when the decision’s approaching, we get really freaked out</p>
<p>I got that financial aid letter, unfortunately I don’t believe that it’s a sign of our acceptance.</p>
