<p>Hey guys, I’m joining this discussion pretty late. I’ve been lurking these for a few weeks now. It’s been great to see how excited other people are about NU and all the amazing things you gius have done! It made me feel under qualified! Regardless, this has been a fun experience. But all I want to say is don’t let this get between you and your life. Some of you seem way stressed when you are definitely a great person academically and in your communities! Go out and enjoy your Friday evening and try something new. Stop refreshing your email every minute and just relax. Hopefully none of you take offense to this. Best of luck to everyone though. I’m proud to be in a pool of such talented applicants. </p>

<p>@Parthlen don’t give up hope until 1 more hour. As has been stated, this year’s NU emails have been sent around 7PM CST. If none of us get anything by then then they’re 99% not coming tonight. </p>
<p>@Jamesesesess all right, but would they ever come over the weekend? Cause I really need to study for finals if I don’t know of my decision yet</p>
<p>@Parthlen Someone mentioned another college is sending their admission letters tomorrow so I’m sure it’s possible… either way, if we don’t hear back tonight, I’m not going to worry about it too much over the weekend since it’d be more likely that we hear back on Monday. </p>
<p>@muzeiro Thank you very much! You do have a point, and I’m sure everyone appreciates your advice. That being said, I’m going to have a mini-spi night for myself to get over this awful anxiety :)</p>
<p>@Jamesesesess it just seems unlikely that all college decisions would come on one day on the final day. Since NU doesn’t have a portal, I don’t think they have the capacity to send that many emails out in a short period of time</p>
<p>all the decisions always come out on the same day. My year, I got mine at 6:02 and i know people who got theres all the way till 6:20. not all emails are able to be sent at once but they come out in a fairly short period</p>
<p>@Parthlen Apparently the past years, everyone received their letters within a few hours of each other. If they were to be sent out in half an hour, some people would receive them right away while others would probably have to wait a few hours. It wouldn’t take them more than one day to get them all out so they could be fine sending them on Monday.</p>

<p>Here’s my thing, if it’s coming out on the 15th why not tell us? Why make it seem like they’re coming out today? Stanford was suppose to be ON the 15th and they found out today…I’m trying to focus on other stuff but it sucks to be honest. I just want to know what college I’m going to. :(</p>
