**Official NU ED 2017 Discussion and Results Thread**

Wow, what a helpful comment. I’m sorry that we enjoy talking to our hopeful future classmates. I also saw your wow that was an epic fail comment on the other thread… That was helpful too

It might be worth bringing this thread back up in case it’s useful to any RD applicants.

Good luck to all RD applicants – including our S!!

And anybody who got in ED, make sure to join the Facebook page for Northwestern Class of 2017, and the Group.

Just a quick note - when D was admitted there were several Facebook pages that cropped up, but only one was the “official” NU page, so it may be worth checking to be sure you find the real one.

<a href=“Northwestern University Class of 2017 | Facebook”>Northwestern University Class of 2017 | Facebook;

It’s the one with over 450 people, and you have to ask to join. The page is less official, since anyone can like a page, so the group is definitely the best resource.

Rejected SESP school

Many people say it is about the numbers first, before the subjective. Here you go.

Stats-

She was crushed…

They don’t super score the ACT, so that wouldn’t help. Other than her test scores being a bit low for NU, she sounds like she’ll get into pretty much anywhere else she applied.

For those of you who were accepted…how many turned down your offers due to insufficient financial aid? I just want to know how common that is and how Northwestern handles this.
