According to their websites we are supposed to hear back mid-april

Does that mean we will get something sometime this week?
I am kinda worried since my transcript boxes and my portfolio box on albert are still unchecked. I mailed all these in on time.
But yeah, do you guys have any idea?</p>
<p>@hoopro: I don’t know why Tisch has a different decision date than the other schools. I also applied to Tisch (Film and TV), but I haven’t received email from them yet (not even an email with NYU ID). I called them the other day for my app status, and they told me that if I don’t get any notification email, then all my materials should be there already… I am so confused right now!</p>
<p>@FloraEscent: what did you apply? I submitted my application on April 1st and received my NYU albert account information on April 5th via email. Try emailing your counselor, mine is very kind and helpful 
I asked her about the mid april thing and will let you know what she says when she responds!</p>

<p>Hi, Tisch applicant here! Where did you learn that Tisch will release their decision in mid- April? According to the last year thread and the nyu website (forget which page), they will release decisions start from May 1st. Last year’s thread, people began to receive decisions on May 11.</p>
<p>Has anyone in the past gotten in without sending a midterm report? I called and the student ambassador said he didn’t know if it was necessary, but that they’d email if they needed it. I really don’t want to send a midterm report because I withdrew from a class that’s a major requirement at my school, but its irrelevant to the major I’m applying to at NYU. ■■■</p>
<p>@all of you who were accepted, when you received your acceptance emails, had your Albert checklists been fully completed or was there anything that showed up as outstanding? (i.e. test scores, transcripts)</p>
<p>Has any else not heard from NYU AT ALL? I had to CALL to get my netid. Not even ONCE did I get an email. NOR HAVE I GOT ANY MAIL. This is ridiculous.</p>
<p>I didn’t send my midterm grades. And everything was checked off my checklist on Albert by the time I got my acceptance</p>
<p>I forgot where, but it’s listed on the website that it’ll be mid-April for Tisch. I doubt it, though.</p>

I’m gonna call them again next week if I still haven’t received any email… I’m not sure if it’s because I already have an existing NYU NetID from signing up for the “2012 Summer In NYC” program (even though when I try checking for my app status using that account, nothing showed up except for the summer app status), or if it’s because they haven’t review my file yet… I applied on March 29th, app was downloaded on March 30h, supplement STILL remains completed.</p>

<p>@WorriedAlways I submitted everything on Common App by January 7th so I’m sure that had much to do with why I heard back so early. Though, I sent my HS and college grades around that time and I’m sure it took a few weeks for them to be received so my application probably wasn’t complete until the end of January/beginning of February.</p>

<p>I applied for Fall 2012 as a transfer student into CAS. I will complete my freshman year this semester so have applied for Sophmore year.</p>
<p>My first semester GPA is a 3.3 however I have a Mid Semester GPA of 3.8.
SAT 1 - 2260 (800 Maths, 670 CR and 790 Writing)
I have very good extracurricular activities.
I currently study at UT Austin but I am an international student.
I have applied for Environmental Studies.</p>
<p>I am really nervous like the rest of you. On my Albert Login I have 2 items checked however they still dont seem to have received my high school and college transcripts or havent processed it. I sent it out on march 13th and sent my application on March 29th.</p>
<p>Could someone please tell me what my chances are.
Also, I read previously on this thread that some people have gotten their decisions. Is that for Summer 2012 or Fall.</p>
