<p>Rejections are being sent out. A friend of mine was denied today from Gallatin.</p>
<p>Guys, this might be a stupid question, but I’m from another country, so I’m not that familiar with universities here.</p>
<p>I was able to extend my deadline in another school by speaking with someone on the phone.
Should I have any proof that I was able to extend my deposit deadline? Or just talking to someone on the phone is enough?
I’m too afraid to make the deposit days later and find out the lady on the phone did not make the changes or something, and I don’t have proof she said she would do…</p>

<p>Bosbr100: I was in the same position as you. Sometimes people tell you wrongful information on the phone, and then when things turn wrong they don’t take responsibility. The best you can do is email the admission office asking for an extension, and when they reply back accepting your request, save it up. That’s exactly what I did in case something goes wrong.</p>
<p>Rsxx92, thanks for your repply! I emailed them twice in two different offices, but I didn’t get an answer! That’s why I’m kind worried about it, they just told me it was fine on the phone. I’ll call again tomorrow to see if there is a way I could have something written, otherwise I might pay the deposit, better than risk my acceptance</p>
<p>Bosbr100: that’s ridiculous, how hard is it to reply to an email? Smh… Anyways you plan also sounds good, like you said, better safe than to risk it. Btw I contacted northeastern a while ago and they said that colleges usually give extensions because they understand they weren’t the only ones you applied to. Either way, good luck on that one!</p>

It would to be great to wake up with a decision from NYU tmr, but I know it’s kinda impossible considering it’s Wednesday hahaha</p>

<p>Is it highly likely that many of us will hear from NYU this Thursday? It is May 2nd, and NYU began giving out decisions on 4/23/13 (although very few students heard).</p>

<p>Yay!!! It is so nice to know that there are some fellow tisch applicants out there (especially a dramatic writing applicant! :D).</p>
<p>So I woke up this morning and saw that my SAT/ACT test scores were crossed off my Albert portal checklist…so now all thats left is my dramatic writing portfolio…</p>
<p>Given the fact I’m a sophomore and I didn’t send my test scores…maybe this means something? @sarahh9688 I know you had said when you called them they told you we’d be finding out Mid-May/June…but I don’t know. Perhaps this is a good sign for tomorrow? Or am I just going bonkers…</p>

<p>michaeldeblasio, I don’t know about Stern, but for what I know people get their decisions by email, not in Albert. And yes, there is a Tuesday and Thursdays pattern for decisions since last year. Probably tomorrow more acceptances and rejections will be send out.</p>

I applied to NYU as a transfer for Tisch Film/TV program. All of my stuff are checked off in Albert so its a good sign:) I’m waiting nervously for tomorrow. Lemme noe if any of the Tich applicants get their decisions!</p>
<p>I have not been given my financial aid statement yet, but when it comes out I will let you know!</p>
