@isabellasa I’m an English major too!
@princesskitten great!! Good luck to us!! Hope we can meet in NYU !!
@princesskitten yea this is what they said… The waiting game starts …
They probably have a rubric as to how many they should accept. I know ucs accept a lot of ccs from in state (like 50%) then the other 50% ratioed into out of state, Uc to Uc transfer, intl, etc.
are midterm grades required?
It said on the nyu checklist, so probably?
@angellim I would send in the midterm grades. As long as they are good, they can only help. Not sending them in leaves room for admissions to guess what you have.
And yeah, the checklist says to, so I would if I were you.
@angellim I actually emailed the admission office about the midterm grade and they sent me two forms to fill out. So I guess it’s necessary to send in the midterm grades.
i used the common app midterm form, do you think that will suffice?
@trnsfrstdnt tbh Idk… You better email them and ask as I was requested to send in two forms.
im too lazy atm LOL. i’ll just wait until and if they ask me to since the same issue happened with cornell but they accepted the common app form.
I’m sure if they really needed it they’d contact you about it
@baddiarydays or maybe they just expect you to already turn it in…
@popitx also true but I’ve read of some people not turning in the form and it not being too big a deal
Anyone receive decisions ?
Nope. Is anyone else constantly refreshing their emails or
@baddiarydays same here! non stop refreshing my emails lol
This is going to be one long month…
According to past threads, decisions tend to come out on Thursdays (and some Tuesdays) so we should definitely keep an eye out on those days
