Official October SAT Math Discussion

Realistically, 780.

@Yanks270 thank you!! and I think ONLY -1 would definitely be an 800. I’m not positive though.

What were the hardest problems in the experimental math section?? I had 4 Math sections, 1 of which I had a little trouble with. I know that the grid in section with the school absences was real.

Actually that Jackson one was really hard since it required a lot of logic, and even then, it was easy to make a mistake.

Hoping that the curve is more lenient this time and I can get 800 with 1 wrong.

Was the F(7)greater than F(9) on the experimental section? Can’t recall that question

It is definitely 1600 Thanks!!!

what’s the answer to the half square question (grid-in). I got 112.5 but it didn’t fit the grid. The question was “what’s the smallest half square that is over 100”

It was 128

@joshroz: The answer is 128. The half square had to be an integer and 112.5 is not an integer.

@joshroz the question asked for the smallest half square over 100 that was an integer

Guys was it (-1,3)???
Bcz i changed it to (-3,1) at the last minute!

Diagonal or square = sqrt(130)

@IGotAn800
For the guy who was absent 3 times you would subtract 2 not 1 because he alone accounts for 3 absences.

guys!! What were the hardest problems on the experimental Math section? I’m trying to identity which one it was, because I had 4 Math sections.

if i only missed two from the math what is my score? i skipped none

What will -3 likely be?

which one’s did you miss?^ i missed the reflection one and the perimeter of the triangle-__-

-3 is usually around a 730

@stewfoo412
depending on the curve, 740 - 780

awesome thank you
