I’m international. And I think I would enjoy both suburb California and New York City, though they are very different. Also, as far as I know, both have great astrophysics programs (which you can see is my intended major from my profile pic alone if not my name lol)
Unfortunately, it’s too costly to fly to visit colleges in April, so I probably won’t be able to get any first-hand experience.

This year ED decisions were emailed. I assume the same will be true for RD.

Last year was the 21st, a Friday, and since colleges usually notify on the same day of the week each year, I’m going to guess the 20th.

@stilchs4. The mailer is a multi-page color booklet that highlights some of the interesting things Pomona professors are involved in. It was mailed to students but includes a note inside from the Dean of Admissions addressed to parents.
Especially given the timing, it seems like the kind of thing that would be targeted at parents of students they are about to accept and whom they are hoping to encourage to attend. I"m not sure why they would spend a bunch of money sending it to those whom they are about to reject, though with as much money as the school has, they may not care.
