OFFICIAL Rutgers FALL 2012 Transfer

I’m probably going to be the last person to get a decision. I sent in my application on February 1st (the due date), and they didn’t get my college transcript till about 2 weeks after that.

@tng1992 End of December, but they received everything January 19th.

sas transferring is huge with the new state program

I was not admitted to the NB Business School, but if I just saw online I wasn’t, when should my decision be posted for the SAS? Is it usually shortly after?

In-state community college transfer applicant for SAS(major computer science) with a 2.9(will be a 3.0 by end of spring). I applied November 12th and all of my stuff at that time was already received because i originally applied for Spring but did a semester change application… STILL HAVEN’T RECEIVED WORD ON ADMITTED OR DENIED. FFS just tell me already Rutgers.

agreed! i applied over thanksgiving break. This anticipation is driving me insane! lol

@yanks101 it usually varies because the different schools make their decisions at different times. sorry to hear you didnt get in though. what were your stats?

can someone chance me? I applied to SAS and SEBS for exercise sciences and RBS for sports administration, all of which are on the new brunswick campus. I have a 3.04 GPA with 16 credits so far since im a freshman at Rowan University. I had an overall QPA of 80 in high school and I got my application and other credentials into rutgers by january 11th. i am extremely nervous and I’ve wanted to go to Rutgers for the longest.

This is really weird, can anyone tell me if this has happened to them?

I looked at my application, and it said "Your status includes all required credentials received through 03/14/12. " The last time it was updated was in 2011. Everything looks exactly the same, all credentials are received and there are no needed credentials.
Final High School Transcript Received
cmty college transcript
$65.00 Application Fee (Nonrefundable)
$150.00 Admission Acceptance Fee (Nonrefundable) <—(if you are wondering what this is, it’s from when i applied in spring but was denied to SAS so i reserved my seat for Rutgers - Newark. I decided i didn’t want to attend there and i wanted to get into SAS so i did a semester change app to be evaluated for fall 2012 SAS).

My app is still in process as before, nothing has changed:
School of Arts and Sciences in New Brunswick Fall In Process

so what the hell did they update on my app? I see nothing different from last time.

I was accepted to SAS-NB, SEBS-NB, and RBS-NB. I currently have a 3.78 GPA at MCC as well as 43 credits. However, I haven’t decided whether I want to go here yet. I’m also waiting for replies from NYU & the University of Miami. Has anyone received their initial financial aid offer yet?

Benjimon - The same thing happened with mine too.

Just got accepted to sas and sebs with a 3.15 gpa and 16 credits :D.

soo… hopefully i’ll get a decision soon based on that? : /

I have 55 semester credits, 65ish by the time i finish spring. I have a 2.9 major gpa, 3.0 by end of spring…

@Benjimon

hey did you ever get your decision? I’m really interested because I have the same stats as you!

Nope still waiting

hey everyone!

This wait has been way too long! I’m still waiting for sas-nb and im pretty sure they received everything around the second week of january. I only have 12 credits for the past fall semester and 12 credits for this semester, but i’m also taking 2 summer classes so i will have 31 credits. they probably wont know that im taking summer classes but currently my stats are…
a 3.5 gpa and im part of the phi beta honor society… what are the chances of me getting accepted? my high school stats were good too. I ended up with a 3.5 gpa but i’m so anxious.

@collegegirl04 You should be fine. My high school stats were similar to yours and I was accepted to SAS-NB as a freshman. In addition, although transferring is more difficult according to Collegeboard (46% acceptance rate), some people in this thread have gotten in with slightly lower stats than your own. I’d be slightly shocked if you didn’t get in.

@JAT0927 Thanks so much! Hopefully I do get in :)

If I may ask collegegirl04, what uni did you attend?

@JAT0927 im currently at MCCC right now which is why i need to get into rutgers asap
