Did anyone get accepted that was a college freshman yet? Cause I applied about two weeks before the deadline and I know people were already denied as freshmen trying to transfer. Fortunately, my application still says in process. I hoping that’s a good sign. Does anyone know if college freshmen transfers are last priority to the Rutgers admissions people or does it not work that way? Thank you to whoever responds. I’m just getting impatient, I go on the page every morning when I wake up just to see if I got in or not. It’s seriously killing me haha.

Yes, I got accepted as a 2nd semester freshman

what were your HS stats

Does Calculus I transfer to Rutgers Newark? I am currently taking it at a CC. And I am planning to transfer to Rutgers-Newark Business School.

Use NJ transfer to see which courses from your CC will go to Rutgers. I’m pretty sure it will though.

hey ac902, I checked nj transfer for all my courses. And it tells me it transfers…I just dont want to take it again.

Our transcripts get evaluated when we send in our final grades for this term correct? I’m really interested to see how many of the “core requirements” I have left to do haha.

I am currently transferring from Cuny CSI with a 3.4 gpa, 1920 SATs. High school average somewhere around 92%, multiple internships and community service as well as a demandind work schedual. Before that i went to fordham and for personal reasons basically screwed up the whole semseter with a 2.0 GPA.
I currently have been accepted to cadmen, I am so nervous! I really want to get into newark college of arts and science. ( feel like new brun. is too much to hope for). I recieved cadmens reply so early, and now have to wait for the december 9th reply date for newark?!? Anyone get accepted to newark yet?

Can I transfer with a 3.6 GPA, numerous extracirriculars, stellar essay, and only 17 credits from Borough of Manhattan CC

Did you get your NetID yet?
The website said that it was unable to locate me in the database or something like that.
Same thing happened on the Financial Aid website.
Do you know when the transfer orientation section starts?
Btw, Have you ever received any Rutgers email?

Hi! I recently submitted all of my credentials into Rutgers University for fall 2012 as a transfer student. I was wondering what my chances are of being admitted? I didn’t do well in highschool at all and Rutgers asks all transfer students for their high school grades. I don’t even think I had a 3.0 , but at my current university in Arizona I have a 3.54 for my first two semesters and made the deans list both semesters I have completed so far. Does Rutgers look at high school grades more than college? If anybody has an idea on my chances of being admitted please let me know! :)

PS. I’m also a resident of New Jersey!

You should be in ru girl555.

Thanks! Do you know how quickly Rutgers typically gets back to people after they submit their application?

Nobody knows how soon you will hear back. However, I think that it ultimately depends on your stats. They gave me a decision 2 days after they received all of my materials. Weeks before the deadline as well.

I think it’s based on how quickly you submit your application and your stats. I had 3.37 and bottle a 4.0 bottle heard back about a week before I did. Again long before the deadline lol. I feel special because I was out of state too hah.

Should I go to Instant Decision Day? I will be transferring with my associates degree in business with a 3.5 gpa (will increase after the semester is over). So far I got into New Brunswick Arts and Science School. But I want to go to Rutgers Newark Business School…so should I go to Instant Decision Day?

Well honestly you won’t get in…

Just kidding hah youre in for sure AA and 3.5 I was an OOS 3.37 and got into SAS. I wouldn’t waste your time unless you really REALLY wanna know.
