Damn scienceguy u scared me lol. but yeh i really wanna know!

hahaha sorry I had to utilize that one to be a dbag lol

I am a bit nervous now, I have to submit a transcript from this community college that I went to for a semester (joined with taking classes at the University) and I think I have a 2.8 there and a 3.33 at the university. The previous semester when I did the joint enrollment, I got 3.5 at the CC and 3.5 at the university. Should I be worried? if I average out all my GPA’s from all Schools (2 Universities and 1 CC) it is 3.03 with science and math classes and 3.33 for major related courses. Do I still have a shot for NB or even Newark so then I can transfer out to NB?

hey, so if anyone is still wondering about the NetID jazz, they said that it won’t be accessed until beginning to mid-November.

Thanks! I was wondering that!

I’ve searched the forum and I don’t think this has been asked before, but sorry in advance if it has – does anyone know if Rutgers is accepting spring 2012 term transfers from students on a trimester schedule?

I know the deadline for applying for the spring term has technically passed, but it does say on the website that they’ll consider applications after the deadline and I’ve just decided to transfer within these past few days. I’m on a trimester schedule though, which makes things awkward – I’m taking 3 6-credit courses right now and my trimester ends in mid-November. Will this make me technically ineligble since I won’t have completed the prerequisite 12 credits by the time of my application? Or will it still be alright since I’ll have the credits by the time I actually enroll for the spring term?

I’m pretty confused and worried about doing everything quickly since it’s already after the deadline… if anyone can take the time to help, it’d be greatly appreciated!

the number of credits you have is based on how many you have completed by the time of application. i have no idea how a trimester system works, but one of my CCs ran on a quarter system (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer). for mine, i had to multiply the number of quarter credits by 2/3. either way, below 24 semester credits, they will still look at your HS stats, and if GPA and test scores are not above average, you might not get in.

I find it really funny that they open up the enrollment pathway yet they have nothing prepared and there is nothing you can actually do on the pathway besides wait for them to post the orientation schedule and housing forms lol.

I got another email from RU about my RUID lol. I already know this crap since weeks ago.

Hahah same they are so behind

Why isnt Rutgers-Newark replying yet!!!

A lot of people have yet to receive their notifications. Me and bottlecap sent our applications in the first week and requested our transcripts were sent that week or day of so we got our notifications back fairly quick because of that. I don’t even think bottle has received his notification from Newark but NB has already replied to him.

same here. it still says “In Process” for mine.

i applied to newark arts and sciences and i heard back atleast 2 or 3 weeks ago

I already heard from Newark a long time ago lol.

just checked my rutgers status. did not get in luckily it wasn’t my first choice but goodluck to everyone else

sorry to hear that lunchables. Good luck with your first choice!

aw, it’s alright. better luck with your other school or fall semester =)

Hey so do we register at orientation for classes? Or do we do it sooner?

Yes at orientation. You will be assigned a counselor who will go over what classes you need to take, etc. I am going to stalk the web reg 24/7 after that lol.
