**OFFICIAL SAT Biology E/M June 2013 Exam**

and systolic body pressure?

heart rate 60-80 right?

pretty sure it’s 120/80

and @thetester123, adiallo made a really good notecard collection on this forum that I think is really good review. Right now, it’s probably too late to start learning something new, so go through his notecards, and then try to go over the big things, that have a lot of details, like cell resp. photosynthesis, organic molecules (carbs vs lipids vs nucleic acids vs proteins), etc.

what component of the blood might cause a partial blockage in the capillary beds?

^ Thrombocytes?

I’m taking E, it seems to be a lot simpler.

I got 73/80 right and SparkNotes said it converts to a 740. What does a raw score of 73 convert to in your prep books?

Blegh, i’m finding physiology and taxonomy complicated. Especially since my teacher did not go over plants at all. In barrons 73 = 800

Purpledino, a 73/80 is an 800. Great job!

adiallo98, Taxonomy is not as important or as difficult. However, physiology is slightly difficult…

For taxonomy, focus on getting the order right, nothing else. Physiology, you should focus more on.

How should I go about it? Hormones stump me the most and the heart; and plants in general. Other than that i’m really good with physiology. How do you recommend I make less silly mistakes? Lol should i read the barrons once more and take two more practice tests?

For SAT ii Biology, are specific scientists tested?

Yes, like Lamark, Darwin, Hershey & Chase, etc…

Thanks guys! I probably won’t get a 73/80 on the real exam, though. What did you guys get on your practice exams?

70 on Barrons Test One and 66 on Test Two. Haven’t bothered with PR yet.

I think for maybe the Barron’s exam, a 73 is an 800, but for the actual SAT bio, it’s probably more like 77 or 78. I probably got around 5 or 6 wrong on the may sat, and got a 760

x.x I feel so unprepared, if I can’t pull a 750+ i’m going to retake the test x.x

Okay so I only got like 1/2 of the way through Barron’s… Tomorow at school I’m gonna try and get through like 50-100 more pages during the classes where I do nothing. I was wondering if it would be helpful to look over all of the terms in the back just to get the gist of what each term means/deals with?

I’d do that for review but some require perceptual understanding of conceptual diagrams.

Activation energy is the minimum energy required to?

a)to bring reactants together
or
b) to change the bond in the reactant molecules

?!?!
