Are there any other practice tests to take except Barron’s and PR? I’m scoring like constant 720’s on both and my goal is 750+. What else are you guys doing to cram last minute?

Just studying in general. Aiming for 800. I got -6 and got an 800 on the barrons test, but I know that the scale for Barrron’s is inaccurate. I know a barrons test would be harder than normal, so what would -6 on barrons translate to regular?

it translates to

I’ll get an 800 and i’m bragging ;P

I’ve given up on Barron’s and have reverted to Sparknotes online… Sparknotes seems to be a lot better because they give you all the necessary information without dragging out and going way to far in depth like Barrons does… I find that Barrons is so hard to focus on reading because they add way more info than they need to.

Is Barron’s grading scale for ecology accurate?

I would say accurate for their tests but college board would never give that much of a curve. Whatever you get on Barron’s should be an accurate score predictor for the actual test.(IMO)

Actually, I took Bio-E last year (I was going to take M, but I saw something about labeling some bug and completely forgot my arthropod anatomy). I think the curve was very generous last year, or the test was very easy. I was averaging 650 on the sparknotes and Barron’s practice tests, and I got a 760 on the real thing…but it wasn’t like I didn’t know the questions on the test…more like, I happened to know the answers.

Sorry, if this wasn’t useful.

wooooaaaahhhhhooo

WHAT?!!!?!

it’s ECOLOGY that has taxonomy!
that’s what i’ve had in all my tests!
no. actually i’ve had taxonomy in the 60 questions part… and very little of that too

but taxonomy in molecular?!!?!
that EVER happened?!

anyone have know where you can get some free online bio sat tests?

people… seriously… what are the chances of pure tax in m??!

13% I believe is ecology

IN THE TWENTY M QUESTIONS?

no… over in all… in the 60 questions
right?!

Straight from Barrons.
Approximate Percent of M Test:
27% Cell and Molecular Biology
13% Ecology
20$ Classic Genetics
25% Organismal Biology
15% Evolution and Diversity (Inclusive of Taxonomy)

yeah i have barron’s too man

it’s just that… i thought 13% ecology in THE WHOLE test… not 13% from M’s 20 questions…

I still believe that’s true…

My teacher said just know the phylums and some characteristics and organisms within it

can we review now?
like what?
I’m so lost in tax!

Like I personally make acronyms from least complex to most, each having new traits to differentiate

Is there a lot of labelling diagrams on the test like in barron’s?

How does the test compare with the one administered in the Collegeboard SAT Subject Test book? please answer!!
