**OFFICIAL SAT Biology E/M June 2013 Exam**

There are a few diagrams where they ask you questions pertaining to a variable on the diagram. As for the SAT Collegeboard book, they are quite similar in terms of difficulty but there may be those tests like the one administered before that had the eye and ear diagrams, can’t be certain.

Thanks for answering, adiallo. I dunno if you have taken the Collegeboard subject for bio, but some questions are really confusing. So you’re saying that there’ll be similar questions like those?

You need to realize that this test is for freshmen in Honors or Advanced Biology, they must make it fair to the freshmen although people who have taken AP Biology tend to take it as well. The SAT Biology test doesn’t try to confuse you either, it’s an exam to measure your conceptual understanding of biology, not a test of aptitude. It’s mostly only deciphering diagrams, vocabulary, and memorization. If a question seems easy, it probably is, they aren’t trying to see how you connect concepts like the new AP Biology curriculum.

Like he said ^^^

how hard is it to get a 520 for someone who has’nt studied that much?

Can somebody put up the Barron’s grading scale for the SAT Subject test? Like what is 65/80?

Good luck you guys. See you in a few hours.

Good luck o everyone! أن شا الله

Good news is we can retake it -_-

I think i did okay. I guessed on 5-6 questions

has everyone taken it/ is it open for discussion?

Feel the need to retake it, I knew specifics of answers but the test was so general, it was all backwards to me.

I have a few questions

1) the anticodon for tRNA … I think it was UCG … shouldn’t it be AGC ? the answer wasn’t in the choices

2) The property of water that incorrectly states how it helps life ? (E-section)

3) What does the Anti-diuretic hormone do ?

1) i got GCT i think for the DNA
2) didnt take E, sorry
3) reabsorption in the collecting duct of the kidneys

the answer for the property of the water question was the vapor pressure thing

For tRNA anticodons you had to convert to RNA codons and switch parallelism and then convert th RNA into DNA and switch parallelism again. It was B I believe

did any one get 30 ng?

what did you guys get for the red and white eyes question? i got 1 and 3 which was E i believe.

what did you guys get for the flower question with petal arrangement and stuff… was it incomplete dominance?

missmiki, it was 30 ng (that was the one for the weight in G1 and then in metaphase, right?)

and guys… so which animal was the reptile… lol jk
