Angle to the flagpole was 45 deg and when it was moved closer by 20 the angle of elevation changed to 60 deg
Something like that

NyYoshi how did you solve that function 40e^-0.1t(cos(2t)) ? Even plugging 6.44 and 6.23 into my calculator, neither seem to give an output of 20? I tried to get wolfram alpha to solve it, and I ran out of computational time lol
OH NO I WAS BEING DUMB WHYYYY
no, there was one version. regardless, it said the shape of the function as x gets greater or something like that and the answer was 2x+3
According to wolfram, which finally did the calculation, these were the answers… http://imgur.com/fOQPONX
@ypmagic It was basically asking how the limit as x approaches infinity acts. The exact equation I don’t remember, but that doesn’t really matter, so let’s say it was (2x^2 + 7x +5) / (x + 2). As x approached infinity, the only thing about the equation that matters it the highest degree in the numerator and the denominator. What you do is simply the equation down to 2x^2 / x and as x approaches infinity they are basically the same equation as you would see in the Limit Comparison Test (a calculus concept for rates of growth). So we have 2x^2 / x which simplifies to 2x. Now that we have 2x we look at the answers that have 2x and pick that one. It can be 2x + (any integer) because that “any integer” does not matter.
Guess who’s crying herself to sleep tonight…
Can anyone state the last problem of the test? I want to rework it
can someone compile answers?
@meaa7130 dw at least you didn’t fail this test and world history…
was the standard deviation stays the same if odd?
lol but i failed bio @Yakisoba
When do scores come out
@baller55 too soon

I just picked the one closest to 20. There was one that was only a couple decimal point off
X=k
Flagpole: 47.32
Pizza: 92
SD: Decrease
Inverse intensity: 9.4
Absolute value of theta: 6.44
Median – mean = 0.45
IQR: 5
Sphere: point and circle
Triangle: -3
Probability: 13/25
Cos(pi-theta): 153
sinA=cosB
triangle with angle 38o, sides 8, 11 = 6.8
what shape would the rational function look like? 2x+3.
How many distinct lines? 2
Complex #: 4th Quad
Perpendicular line: b/a
@meaa7130 #shittytumblrgifs
Why is the inverse intensity 9.4? I just divided 150 by 4 because you multiple 3 by 4 to get 12
what was the intensity question?
