Official SAT Subject Test - Math Level 2 - June 2015

Same here…but felt pretty confident about the other ones. What do you think you got?

the 153 question? anyone please? answer choices or what the question was?

does anyone remember #41/#48?

and @alpha525 i think it was the one where tan (90-theta) = -2

@adorbs33 Do you remember what they were about?

@rdeng2614 um not really, just that if i got #48 right then i got #49 right bc i put the same answer for both, but i forgot what i put for #49. and #41, i’m just unsure

Hmm. that’s weird. i didn’t take the test, again, but out of all the answer choices, only (1/x) would work. Also, the semicircular graph cannot be an answer. Basic calculus tells you that on the circle, a point, say, (0, radius) must exist. Thus, if that graph were circular, the point (0, -radius) must exist as well. Does it? Nope.

@Tedeward I think missing 8-10 is a lot worse than omitting 8

Wait there was an option for just three. I remember

@schoolisfunforme are you sure about that, I don’t remember just an answer for 1/x. I would have put that because I graphed all the functions and saw that only 1/x was symmetrical to the origin. But because I couldn’t find one for just 1/x, I chose the one for 1/x and the square root function.

Yes it is… They penalize you by taking 1/4 of a point every time you MISS a question… if you OMIT no points are given

@cesar323 I’m pretty sure cause I was unsure of whether the square root function was origin but then I saw that it wasn’t and picked only three.

@adorbs33 thanks a lot man!!

Damn, I don’t know. I guess we’ll never know. Cause we can’t even see our mistakes when we get the scores back. :confused:

Guys its 1/x as the sole and only answer i’m pretty sure because if i recall it asks for which functions are symmetric over the origin and the last time I checked a circle is not a function because it doesn’t pass a vertical line test. Plus the graph was a semi circle if i recall

there was definitely a choice for only 1/x

anyone remember a question where 167 degrees was a choice?

@egan99 I know that, the problem is whether just 1/x was an option or not. we can’t seem to remember. I would have put that without thinking twice if it was there. Let’s just stop talking about that question. it’s frustrating.

Does anyone remember #48?

So was 49 6.08 or 6.44? really bad question imo. Both answers were not truly 20 which was annoying. Hopefully they throw it out. Would a 43/50 curve be reasonable?

@Brownster98 What was 49?
