Official SAT Subject Test - Math Level 2 - June 2015

@rdeng2614 for the 20 one you had to plug that equation in your y= and then make another line y=20 and find the intersection

Does anyone know what the average SAT Math Reasoning score is for Math 2 test takers? I’m curious as to how selective this group is.

@Argonian183 About 25% of people get an 800 if that gives you an idea.

I feel as if out of all the CCers who posted on this thread, I did the worst.

guys, let’s go back to the question asking about which functions were odd. there were three options. 1/x was definitely one of the answers but there was no option for just that function. so what was the other function that was also odd?

@Frigidcold I meant on the 2400 SAT. The correlation between the normal SAT math section and the math 2 subject test.

What answer choice was x = k? C?

@cesar323 If 1/x wasn’t the only option then I have no idea. (x-1)^3 definitely isn’t the answer.
There were 5 choices, what were they if they 1/x wasn’t one of them?

@Smargent what were some choices and what exactl was the question for th 153 question

@rdeng2614 1/x was one of the functions that was odd but it was that and either one of the other two equations or all three equations which is not true. so I think it was 1/x and then the function with the square root. I just thought that if you moved the square root to the side of y. then it would be y^2 and then x^2 on the other side and the equation would be odd. I don’t know if my thought process is right but that’s the only way I could figure it out.

@ypmagic I know, that’s what I meant. isn’t an equation symmetrical to the origin odd anyways? and besides, there was no option for just III. it didn’t give an option for just 1/x.

Hello? Does anyone remember which answer choice (A, B, C, D, or E) x = k was?

Does anyone remember #48/#41?

Yeah for that problem i said only 1/x

@Yakisoba Dont worry!! I omitted 8, EIGHT! frickin questions

@ypmagic yeah but how could 1/x be the only answer if the options didn’t show just 1/x as answer. it was 1/x with another equation or all three equations. what did you answer?

Holy crap guys. The symmetry question is easy. Put all of them into your calculator and see which is symmetric haha

@yakisoba i think it was B

@ypmagic I don’t think there was a + and - for the square root function. I’m pretty sure it was only +sqrt(25-x^2)
the square root would have to be one of them somehow if there wasn’t an option for 1/x

@ypmagic there we go :D. I guess I got it right then!!! @Tedeward there was no option for just 1/x
