@beedigger No subject test is going to make or break your app anyways.
Not impressive but they just want you to have it. Like they expect it
The pizza was 56. 7C3…
8C1 + 8C2 + 8C3 = 92
this sucks so much…it looks like I have to retake it senior year…UGHHHH
is there no chance of 42/50 being the curve?
i got 800 and 790 on my 2 practice math 2s. the real ones. but it looks like i skipped 3 and got 4 wrong here.
For the pizza one didn’t it say the pizza has three toppings out of 8? Therefore 8C3 is 56
@i2400ezpz I think it said you can pick 1,2 or 3 toppings. So 8C1 possibilities if you pick only 1 topping. 8C2 possibilities if you pick 2 toppings and 8C3 possibilities if you pick 3 toppings.
Add them all up and you get 92.
Btw option A for the origin functions question was “Only III” and that was right
bar graph one, was the answer between 15 and 20?
Yea
But the largest bar was composed of 14s, which would indicate that the answer was between 10 and 15, right?
Wasn’t it asking where the median was? I think it was 15-20 if i remember correctly.
@creedbratton You may be right. Shoot.
i did the same exact thing
hey there guys, i have a question on question 49 of the test. they gave us a function, i can’t remember it, so let’s define it as f. they wanted the biggest value of x where f(x)=20 (hopefully now this is ringing a bell). i narrowed it down to two possibilities: 6.04 and 6.48 (these are estimates, but still pretty darn close). f(6.04)~20.06 ish? and f(6.48)~19.98. although i completely understand that two of these numbers both round to 20, and that 19.98 is closer than the other value, i picked 6.04 because it was like truly above 20 (i mean by like .0 something, but still), and 6.44 was JUST RIGHT UNDER 20. what did you guys put?
If I get a 780/790 would it look bad I retake it? I’m taking a different subject test in the fall anyways so I plan on retaking this I’d I don’t get an 800 (which I most likely won’t)
Can we get a compilation of answers we have agreed upon thus far?
@michelle426 The concensus of thi thread was 6.44. Sorry.
@Kat2016 Are you sure that you won’t get an 800? You seemed pretty knowledgeable.
