@ypmagic I’m also Asian and a non-native speaker. Did you also watch the YouTube video? I thought the girl’s parents were really cruel. And their attitude toward their daughter’s 770 in Literature is beyond ambivalent… maybe fussy and insatiable. I even suspected that the parents had OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder).
Anyway, a 770 in Literature IS very impressive, even for native speakers, let alone for a presumably-non-native Asian girl.
I also took Literature in June and am dying waiting for the scores… A 720+ would satisfy me.
@apactstudent correct, they should come out at 5 am EST. However the 5 am est club hasn’t happened yet lol everyone’s probably sleeping by now. I live in California idk how you guys stay up till 5
@homsar I was actually gonna sleep at a friend’s since they’re expecting their regular SAT scores as well, but I’m home now. I was watching this new show on TNT called “Proof.” It’s interesting
@AmericanGothic: The way her mom said that she would have hugged the girl if she had gotten an 800 made me angry…the mom is acting like either her hug is a burden for her or some exclusive reward for her daughter. For many colleges, there is no difference between 770 and 800 anyways.
