Official SAT Subject Test - Math Level 2 - June 2015

Does anyone know if u can request a rescore from CB?

I’m pretty sure it is 44 because I calculated that I got a 43 and I received a 790 accordingly.

@ShawnLooch

A few points different are not going to be the deciding factor when you have scores like yours.

@ShawnLooch - 750 in Physics can be borderline for Ivys esp if you are applying for engineering. may be take another subject like Chemistry and try to get around 770.

@srk2017 I want to major in Econ lol

@shawnlooch - I am not familiar with Econ requirements, but 750 should be more than enough :-). My son is interested in science and engineering majors only.

Why are curves for Math standardized tests in general so damn big? AP Calc, Math subject tests (but for some reason not the actual Math section on the reasoning test), etc.

@mylifeisgone195 Yes, but that costs a lot.

Rescore is $55

We get more comprehensive reports this Friday, right? Then we can know for sure about the 43/44 cutoff.

I got a 770…thought I would get 750 max so that was cool I guess…really wanted an 800 though

Was so excited today. I got an 800. Physics was a 720 though…is that good enough for Cornell or Columbia Architecture for ED?

@WizDexter99 I’d suggest a retake. 750-760+ will cut it.

Comprehensive reports come in the 30th, not tomorrow. My bad.

Thanks…will consider it

Will probably take Chem and Physics in October. I took a gap year so I was pretty lost in some fields.Haven’t been in a physics class in ages. No subject test prep school in Ghana too. Well, I better get a head start…

@PercyFowl all score reports do is tell you your percentile ranking. CB will never release scoring guidelines unless they release the whole test.

@mumbai98 I don’t even know how to use a graphing calculator. Lol. Still got an 800 B-)

and to add on to what @michelle426 said^, they haven’t released tests in ages either. for chem, the last test i found was from 1994 and i don’t think they released a single math2 test ever
