@GoldenRock . I spoke to RPI. She recognized me. Asked me if I had called last week:) she thinks my file will get processed only in Jan since they are closed starting Thursday. She assured me the bulk of applications have not been processed yet. And they process the last application just like they do the first one. She was very sweet and insisted to have a lot of patience with this program. I have applied only through RPI. Your take on Albany multiple was true. This is RPI update.
@Sam999 I spoke to the Honors college at NJIT. The lady was nice again. She looked into my file and said the interviewer has not sent back her feedback yet or they have not downloaded her feedback. The Honors committee was meeting this morning and their goal is to send out all outstanding decisions latest by tomorrow. So I guess you might be in the same pool. If you call she is helpful.
Is a family reco for U Rochester required? Did anyone submit one and how was it submitted? If yes, did you/ your recommender receive a confirmation email from the admissions office associate director after they received it?
@narkor Have you submitted your union/AMC and RPI/AMC? Have you received interview notifications?
I submitted both my Union supplement about a week ago and RPI supplement couple of days back. I was told that both will be processed together.

@jhgong Baylor excellence schedule confirmation came in this evening. I am attending BSMD first step interview on Jan 22 and excellence on Jan 23. SBU on Jan 30.
I applied CW PPSP and requested for UG interview in mid Nov. Did anyone had CW UG interview?

Ok just some of my concerns with three BA/MDs (esp brooklyn)
For those who applied to Brooklyn College BA/MD: have you guys been able to access the Brooklyn Scholarship portal? Because I am unable to, so I cant see if they’ve received my transcript and stuff… Im wondering if the same thing has happened to y’all as well.
With RPI/AMC: My application was submitted 11/06/15 officially on my portal, from the looks of others it looks like it may take time before they tell me whether or not it was forwarded
With Union/AMC: I got stuff in the mail saying my app was forwarded to AMC and that they would be in contact with me… still waiting on that AMC supplement from union (I’m assuming it will come soon as they sent that mailing to me on Dec. 17th)
PLME: Application submitted ~3 weeks ago and still waiting for portal.
PPSP: Got portal access and application materials complete.
REMS: On Step 4: Committee Review:
“A senior second reader has completed his/her review of your credentials for admission. Your application is in the last stage of the review process and is awaiting the committee’s final decision.”
Just jumping on to let those of you who applied to NEOMED know that interview invitations went out Friday via snail mail. There are a few in state people, including my son, who have received the packet in Monday’s mail.
@HS2DirectMed - my son interviewed with CWRU UG on campus, not with a local alumni, prior to applying to PPSP.
@IfnousWHO Did you send anything extra on the CWRU portal for PPSP other than filing your application in Common Application ?

@Dadofhskid narkor had his application for RPI completed on 10/31 and he received his Albany supplement last week. I am sorry I referred my update to Goldenrock. I got confused who I was talking to about RPI. It was for you. The lady at RPI was pretty sure we will hear back only in Jan.
@IfnousWHO on the Brown website they mention it will take about 3 weeks after we send the application for us to get the portal info. CWRC says for PPSP we will get notified in Feb of we make it to the next step otherwise only in March along with RD. There is no update once the petal and email account was set up.
UR… Now in step 3. Based on others this step takes long too. You are ahead along with svnya123 on REMS.
@indsfolax For PPSP, there is nothing you have to send/upload in CWRU portal. There are 2 prompts for PPSP which you would have completed when you submitted the common app. That is all for CWRU/PPSP.
I am getting concerned with graduation rate of some of these BA MD Program. as we learned UMiami- Graduation rate is 60%. means 40% accepted students for BA MD doesn’t graduate to medical school. I am assuming either due to GPA requirement or MCAT requirement or they lost interest to become a doctor. do we have statistics for graduation % of other schools? can any one post % of graduation from BA MD to Medicine for each program or any other program we know of?

All: When ever any one gets interview, please share the following, which will benefit this group a lot.
- What are the interview dates?
- Are they offering choices with multiple dates (like Albany/SBU) or it is just 1 day (take or leave it, like Baylor)
Hoping this info will benefit a lot both students and parents. For folks in west coast, minimum 2 days to attend any interview. Also invariably every student would have applied to a variety of programs (10-15-20 schools), and there will be a situation to make tough choice if there is any conflict in interview dates or critical school days etc., Thanks.
