Official thread october sat 2013 test

did anyone get .5 as one of the grid-in answers?

Wait wasn’t the big circle radius 5? also the question
-5 <= x <= something
1 < y < 5
wasn’t it -4?
**** if I’m two wrong already

it was 64/9 for the circle area ratio sine 5 was just the length from CD not the whole radius so the radius for the big circle was 8

btw what was 29 in the writing section

for the points A B C D i put only I was right

anyone else??

Also what was the asnwer to the math question with the birds and the cats and the total being between 200-250?

.5 or 1/2 for the absolute values yes. I remember the circles one being a radius of five and 3, but eh i might be wrong.

@jeff, no, it was 8 & the other was -2 i think

For the 69/4 question, is it ok to put 7.11 as an answer?

for ABCD in a line, i think i put all three of them are true

guys I think you read the question wrong, AD was a horizontal diameter and it was 6. So the small circle’s radius was 3, and then they said the big one’s was 5

the one with birds, cats, and dogs is 15

^livelikewind I also got that all three were true. I drew them all out, and each worked

For ‘Death is kind and quick’ I put exaggeration.

Was 831 correct for the write-in answer?

@icy, they said 5 was BC, which was not from the center of the small circle.

^boundforboston that’s what i put

@xCossack

As did I

831 yep. I also put exaggeration, but contemplated satire.

@jlee it was 15
