It was very very very casual. Questions were like: what do you think defines a leader? Tell me about yourself, what do you like to do? How did you gain interest in business? Which of the activities you currently do is your favorite?
What did u Guys think of this year supplemental essay?

@78lazy6 I found it to be easy. I over thought it at first but went with what came to mind.
Does Haas look at both your uc app essays and the supplemental or just supplemental?

Very strong ECs, experience, essays. Below average grades.

Do haas students have it easier when looking for jobs than Econ students?
@78lazy6 No. It comes down to the person and how they present themselves and perform, not the major.
So does being in haas actually provide any competitive advantage?
It’s the #2 undergraduate business program in the country. There is plenty to be gained. But a job won’t be handed to someone simply because they’re Haas, it’s still needs to be earned and there’s no shortage of competitive applicants in the area or at Cal.
Cal econ students get great jobs as well.

@78lazy6 pretty good. This semester has been kicking my azzzzz so I haven’t had time to consider how close we are. I also got offered a valedictorian role for my CC commencement ceremony so that’s been a handful. You?
How did you get a valedictorian role considering that you only have a 3.86? That appears really low for ANY valedictorian!
