<p>One of my friends also hoping to transfer called admissions today and they said they have no set date and EVERYONE should know by NEXT friday-the 1st of May at the latest. I somehow doubt they started mailing letters out today.</p>

<p>I’m not sure, but my best guess would be you would find out through your MyUNC first. I’ve read so many of these threads, most people found out on MyUNC first</p>

<p>I don’t know if UNC did really send out admission letters or not, but UCSD/UCSB did the same thing (I don’t quite remember). Let’s say it was UCSD. I checked the portal on Saturday and found out that I was accepted. Couple days later, I got a mail saying I’m in. However, I checked the postmark date and realized that the mail was sent like a day or two before Saturday.</p>

<p>Everyone, instead of trusting anonymous posters on this thread who seemingly have inside info, why don’t we just go by the “official” posts by the Admissions folks on the blog. The end of April is what I’m going to go with. If it’s any earlier, it’s a pleasant surprise :)</p>
<p>I called admissions earlier this morning and was told that admissions would be out any day now. I was also mentioned that we would see our decision online first and then letters would follow.</p>

As much as I would like to believe something went out in the mail or someone heard from admissions it would be any day now, I think that is possibly </em></strong>. </p>
