<p>Congrats to everyone who was accepted! I was denied as a sophomore transfer, but if anyone could give me advice on what to work on for appying as a junior transfer, it would be much appreciated.
High school GPA- 3.7
College GPA- 3.0 first semester, 3.8 second semester
SAT score- 1790
Extracurriculars- few</p>

<p>@JMU you go to James Madison? Just raise your GPA a little bit, and raise your SAT score to about 1900+. And realyl good essays.</p>

<p>JMU, the 3.0 first semester probably affected you. Just try to get the highest GPA you possibly can. I wouldn’t worry about the SAT as UNC mainly looks at college coursework for Junior Transfers</p>

<p>"According to the campus directory, Your PID is not allowed to have a UNC ONYEN. Therefore we will not create one for you at this time. "</p>

<p>@JMU that first semester gpa most likely really hurt your chances. If I were you I wouldn’t worry to much about the SAT, we have the same score and it didn’t hurt my chances. Just make sure to get your GPA up as high as possible, have good LORs and write a good essay and you will be a tar heel in no time :)</p>

<p>I received my course evaluation. All 80 credits have been transferred except 2 one credit BSAD courses and courses in progress this semester. Amazing!</p>

<p>My credit eval sucks…but it doesn’t surprise me. My school is horrendous when it comes to credits going in or out.</p>
