I hope we at least get the email today. The wait is stressing me out so much, not to mention I have exams to study for as well…

Does it come as an email? I’m in C-STEP and they’re telling me nothing. They said we should start getting them the 7th but nothing came in as far as I’ve seen.

I know we view the decisions on Connect Carolina. I’ve been refreshing all week. Mine suddenly stopped working this morning and I’ve gotten a little paranoid. Decisions are one of the worst things to wait on.

@Lpetrichor According to last year’s thread, emails which contained instructions on how to view the decisions were sent the day before decisions were released; they also updated their admissions blog.

@Otemachi I have no idea when in the day the emails would be sent, but if we don’t get them today does that mean we’ll have to wait until Monday to find out?

@UNCtransfer yea…I would think so

Well…that sucks.

@UNCTransfer2014 According to the 2012 transfer update, they received their decisions from 5-7pm. Maybe we can anticipate emails before the decisions are given around this time.

Do they not work on Fridays?

@Lpetrichor Last year though both emails and decisions were sent early afternoon…like 1pm

@Otenmachi I guess it varies then. I wish someone would update us on the status of the bunk of applications.

@UNCTransfer2014 There was a problem with them receiving my SAT scores because they classified me as a sophomore instead of a junior transfer. I never submitted my SAT scores because they’re optional for a junior transfer. I finally got it sorted out today but I hope it’s not too late.

Also, how do we know decisions won’t be released next Friday?

@justblewit Someone mentioned earlier in the thread that a spokesperson from the admissions office informed them that we should hear back by April 15th at the latest

My guess is this Friday is the target date to release decisions. With UNC, the weekend is fair game.

@KingofSweden Just wondering but can you also speak Swedish? It’d be great to be able to talk to someone seeing as it has been a long time since I found anyone that can also speak it!

@UNCTransfer2014 I’m learning it now! First Germanic language, fifth overall. Hopefully I’ll be reasonably fluent by the time I study abroad in Sweden. UNC has some exchange programs with Lund University, which I hope to take advantage of.

@KingofSweden Det är bra! Förhoppningsvis kommer vi att se varandra i augusti!

@UNCTransfer2014 Ja! Om vi får in, förstås. :D

Jag är säker på att vi kommer! But to be honest, I’m feeling really stressed out that we didn’t get anything from UNC today…I was really hoping to hear at least something.
