<p>I was told that the reason why some applicants have not received their decisions is that their applications needed additional review…So I guess I am a borderline applicant T.T </p>
<p>Oh man, I can tell you my application is a hot mess… A disaster really.
I’ve come to terms that I most likely won’t be accepted, but it would still be so nice to know. I just hope we find out today… I really can’t wait until next week. It’s been difficult enough getting anything done this week…
T-minus 4-6 hours for tonight’s decisions, and I’ve got a paper due tonight. ;/ </p>
<p>If they said we need additional review, I think it’s a good sign. At least we know they didn’t know for sure they wanted us rejected or waitlisted. We are potential acceptees!</p>

<p>The admissions office waited until yesterday morning to let me know that a piece of my application was incorrect (when they received it, it was removed from my ConnectCarolina to do list so i assumed it was correct). I tried all yesterday to get the right person on the phone to find out what I needed to submit, left messages, sent emails and was unable to get in touch with them. I submitted today what I think are the correct materials, but it will take a few days to process even if they are the correct materials. I’m totally in the dark right now. I probably won’t find out my decision until next week because of this, really frustrating. Also, I’m not sure if this will affect my chances at all since most of the transfer decisions have already gone out.</p>
