<p>Did anyone else have the math question where it was “n is a 4 digit number with the its units of 3, what is the unit of n^7”?</p>

<p>the first passage was practical and the second was philosophical right?</p>

<p>The passage talked about dermal and then anatomy of the earth.</p>

<p>Dermal = skin, so anatomy was a bit of a pun…</p>

<p>Also he didn’t really explain what it was so it wasn’t so much of defining a term.</p>

<p>@Natinate the cube was a 3x3, so you multiply 9x6 and get 54. subtract 1 since the single cube covers a spot, then at 5 since it only shows 5 faces, i got 58.</p>

<p>What was the other choice for the pragmatic and philosphical one?</p>

<p>also, throughout the passage the author was being humorous which would further suggest it was a pun.</p>

<p>@thecontender I got 7 for the question about 3 being in the units place. I also got 58 for the cube one. I did 5*9 for all the other sides and then added 13.</p>

<p>Question: about the CR section where it said something like “When we say good girl, we might as well say WOOF” what was the purpose of this? Don’t remember answers… Irony, comedy or something?</p>

<p>For the question about the use of the reply “bark”, was that humor used as a defense?</p>

<p>@thecontender: I think for that n^7, you just ignore the “4 digit number” and just focus on the unit digit number which was 3. Then you simply do 3^7= 2187 which makes the answer 7</p>
