Does anyone have a list of required documents in their USConnect account?

What is the address that we send all transcripts & letters of recommendation?

Hello guys, I need your thoughts on if I will be accepted to USC, University of Michigan, and Purdue. I plan to submit my applications of next fallvery soon but I need to know if I should spend the $300+ to do it or not. What are my chances to get in? I want to major in computer science! My high school GPA average was 3.0 but it ended up being about a 3.4 my Senior year (Never got lower than a 3.0 in any year). My first semester of college I got a 3.9 in Economics, English, Intro to Comp Sci, Leadership, and history. I do a TON of volunteering ever since my Junior year, I log over 10 hours a week. I am on the Varsity basketball team and I am apart of 2-3 clubs. I have an EXTREMELY good essay about my stuttering disability and how I’ve changed from high school to college! I am half American Indian (not enrolled) and half black, if race matters. I have also applied to Santa Clara, University of Washing, and Trinity University. What do you guys think? Can I get in with my low high school GPA and only one year of college credits? Thanks for helping me! :)

What exactly do we list for the Current Year Courses, just the fall semester classes we just took and the spring semester classes we are currently taking, right? Also, what about the “level (100-level, 200-level, etc.) and credit value of all courses you are taking this year (e.g. English 101 3 credits)?” Would we still need to list the classes that will not transfer over and will not count towards your USC g.p.a. ? Or do we skip those?

@SatinderChhokar-- i have that same question… and I’m also wondering how i know what level my classes are? because when i look on my transcript, for “class level” it just says “FU”…

Also, i was wondering if anyone knew why we upload the personal essay yet for the supplemental and the EC essay, we just write it straight in the character box.
And when we upload, i assume we shouldn’t have any title or any other text other than purely the response?

@bwwinthehouse-- In my opinion, that’s a tough one. I assume you have less than 30 credits from college? If that is so, then they will factor your high school transcript into their decision.
With your EC’s and a strong essay though, anything is really possible, i would definitely go for it.

I think that the personal essay (why you plan to transfer essay) is supposed to be uploaded because it’s a larger essay. That’s just my guess.
That’s a really good question. I think that if it were necessary to write our name on the essay it would specify…

In order for them to not look at your high school grades, are you suppose to complete 30+ units when you apply, or is it okay if you have 30+ units by the end of spring semester?

I current have 15 units and I’m working on my spring semester, which is 18, which gives me 33. I’m a freshman at a CCC and I’m thinking about transferring as a sophomore.

Hello everyone!
I am currently a sophomore in UCs and I am planning to transfer to USC as a junior. I am double major in econ/math and Actuarial science and I figure out that actuarial is not my thing because it lowers my GPA. so I decide to transfer with econ/math major am worried about my GPA which is below 3. because I took all pre-major classes and upper division classes in freshman year and also the previous fall quarter so it is very difficult to get a good GPA. However, my gpa is going upward like each quarter is higher than each quarter. THe reason I can take upper classes because I am currently with 88+unit. I also have fairly easy class winter quarter, however, the application is due on Feb 1 where my winter quarter’s grade will come out on March. Will I able to send them an updated transcript later on and how do I let then know? Because pretty sure I can get above 3.8 this quarter so my GPA will boost up. PLEASE HELP.!!! (oh yea and I am a foreign student who studied in America for 4 years)
Thanks! :)

Did anyone get the required documents or received documents checked off? My school sent an e-transcript and I got an email saying the recipient (USC) has received it, but in USConnect, there are no changes yet. In addition, is there anything other than high school/college transcripts that I need to send to them if I have 30+ units? and do I have to send ACT/AP scores if I listed some of them on the common app?

Thanks and Fight On!!!

Hey guys!

I posted before on this thread, but it was a while ago. Haha, anyways, I am a Spring admit transfer student. I originally got in for Fall, but I deferred my admissions to now due to lovely issues at my old school. Anyways, I just wanted to offer some tips and answer any questions you guys may have. This’ll be kind of sure since I’m supposed to be in class soon, but I hope it helps you guys out.

I just want to stress not to worry about low GPAs too much. Yes, academics are important, but they are NOT your complete story. It may sound kinda corny, but find a way to make your voice come out on your essay. Don’t get stuck in the brick and mortar “I, I, I” or “USC USC USC” - that’s boring and they’ve heard it before. Focus on HOW you plan to enrich USC and why you believe USC will do the same for you. Have a concise and honest plan of some sort. If you’re undecided, then focus on your interests and how you’d like to pursue them here at school.

But yeah, any questions you guys have, don’t hesitate to ask! I’ll be here for the entire weekend, so I’ll have nothing but time. X.X

@gousc92 would you be willing to read my 1000 character supplemental & extracurricular essays? I could use a second opinion.
