Yes I am wondering if I need to send HS transcripts. I currently have 49 units done but by the time I transfer (junior standing) I will have about 64 done.

you probably don’t, but you should just to be on the safe side.

Here’s a helpful checklist USC posted on their facebook page:
http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/apply/trans_application.html

From USC’s website:

So, yea, you do need to send in your high school transcript no matter how many units you have. They need to see that you graduated.

Which schools forms (from the common app) do we need to submit if any?

Questions!! URGENT.

1) Does the hs/college transcript have to be at SC by Feb 1? I’m sending in the letter of rec and my hs transcript together but I’m worried since my college might be slow at sending out my current transcript.
2) Same for SAT/ACT scores…Feb 1st deadline as well?

transfers don’t need to send in any school forms [Transfer Planning - USC Undergraduate Admission](http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/apply/trans_application.html)

@2016collegegirl
they only need to be postmarked by February 1, so you’re good, but I suggest you send them asap just to be safe

Would any past USC accepted transfers be willing to read my why transfer essay and give their thoughts?

also, does anyone know if it’s ok to use contractions on the essay? :\ because i’m at over 900 words atm haha, and I really need all the help I can get with cutting it down to ~500

Hi guys,

I’m finishing the application for USC. I’m currently a freshman at a community college having 4.0 gpa and 45 credits (quarter system). I’m planning on transferring to USC as a sophomore. So on the app i wonder if i have to do the additional requirement paragraphs for specifics schools of USC. I’m done with the main essay and i also know i want to be at Viterbi school of engineering. But that would be for later on since i’m only transferring as a sophomore.

So do i have to do the paragraphs for Viterbi school of engineering? Or just leave that section blank?

Thanks.

Hi,

I sent in my Common Ap last night. How many days did it take after you sent in your Common Ap until it showed up on USC Connect? I know it is the weekend but I was just wondering?

Thanks!

Hey,

I know we’re suppose to send our high school transcripts but I attended 2 different high schools. Do I only send the transcript from the high school that I graduated from or both?

Thanks!

Nvm, I found the answer

wait sorry i’m still a little confused. is it required to send in your SAT/ACT scores too?

also does the transcripts from HS and CCC have to be as a paper transcript or can it be an electronic one? because i’m doing it online and for my HS there’s an option for both but from my CCC there’s only an electronic option.

also thank you for the replies ajmy17 and markfoti100

Can I send my high school transcript through parchment.com?

@uscacceptme

I haven’t read the other responses yet, but I sent my SAT/ACT scores in directly from the testing agency. I would have completed 30+ hours, but I sent them in to be on the safe side. I don’t want to give them a reason not to look at my application if they think it’s incomplete!

@basketballer123 that’s what i’m using too and i think that’s where you’re supposed to send your transcript from. just don’t know if you allowed to send the electronic transcript or only the paper transcript

@katie9 that is true. better safe than sorry right! alright thank you, i’ll probably just send it to be on a safe side
