@HappyLifeMachine honestly I don’t know how they can rationalize sending out decisions as late as June. All of my other schools pretty be much be getting back to me next week and by June I will already have had to put down a deposit.

I’d love to go to USC but it’s silly to put down a deposit on another school and then have to wait SO LONG with baited breath to see if I can actually go to USC.

Is anyone else in a similar situation where they might just go someplace else due to how ridiculously long you have to wait for a USC decision? (Especially Viterbi it seems like)

@LostAndAnnoyed No, I 100% agree with you. USC is my first choice. But due to their ridiculous timing, I have to put a deposit down for a UC that I have already been accepted to. So on top of paying tuition at USC (If everything works out), I lose out on $100 deposit for submitting a SIR. They do need a better system because I do understand that they put freshmen + grad students first and transfers last but it becomes such an inconvenience for us.

@LostAndAnnoyed I agree. USC is also my top choice, but it makes it really difficult with how long they take to get back to us, especially if one receives a SGR. :frowning:

@bobisweird yeah, same mine is perfectly fine. Does anyone know what it means to have error on your STARS interactive report :frowning: I haven’t heard back from USC at all. I’m a Marshall & Annenberg major, also a junior transfer.

Thanks so much @madlion21, I did just get the official yes!! It was posted on my YouSC portal, the PDF letter dated the 29th (which was the day of my OASIS STARS change). I already submitted my Enrollment Commitment Deposit haha, just couldn’t wait any longer! Hopefully everyone will find out soon so we can all get our spots locked in!
Still haven’t gotten the package in the mail, but I’m thinking it will probably come tomorrow since the letter was dated the 29th. I’ll post my stats in the decision thread later tonight.

Crossing my fingers that a ton more people will get acceptances tomorrow!

@20tigger17 My restriction date says 4/24/15 and my Star Audit Report says 4/30/15 which is the date I logged in.

I never checked Oasis prior to 4/30/15… does this mean I’m going to have to wait pretty much 1 month like you did for my decision to be released???
