For people who have been accepted and have received their financial aid award, how long did it take to receive the award from the time you received your packet in the mail and/or YouSC updated to show your decision?

@uclausc2015 i think a couple have been accepted and others have gotten SGRs, but decisions are still coming out
@uclausc2015 quite a few of us have heard back some acceptances but mostly SGRs just look through the thread! If you haven’t don’t worry because May has barely began

@sunita18 3.6 GPA, Marshall applicant, Completed 23 units with 15 in progress, applied to enter as a sophomore. Completed categories 1-4 on the articulation agreement. I’ve got the diversity requirement done as well.

That is everything I pretty much put on my application, could be missing some stuff but that’s pretty much it. My GPA is not as good as most of the GPAs everyone else has! Marshall is super competitive so I would understand if I get rejected.

@TonyStark93, I think it was just a coincidence that my STARS change came almost exactly a month after I first logged in. I don’t think you have to necessarily wait one month from your first log-in date, it’s just whenever the decision is made… Also, the restrictions date change could mean that they started looking at your file on the 24th, or that it went from the counselor to the committee, or something else. I don’t think that’s necessarily a firm decision date. I wish I had a more sure answer for you! I just know that we can’t really rely on any one trick being accurate this year as it seems like people are seeing a variety of decision methods and contacts. I forget, what’s your major? I think that’s really the only way to tell approximately when the decision should come… It seems like Music was first, now Marshall and some Dornsife, and everyone is saying Viterbi will be toward the end… Grr I wish this wasn’t such a guessing game
