@elmhsstudent Yeah it’s 30 units not 60.
Oh thank god. I was really panicked for a while… Agh. This is going to be such a long and stressful wait all the way until July. Best of luck to everyone!
Well can confirm, that I can log into OASIS, however this came up on the Stars Report.
STARS Report
Sorry your StARS record is not available!
If you are a Graduate student: Please see your ADVISOR! An application for degree has not yet been filed. A STARS report cannot be made available until your Advisor has submitted an application for degree.
If you are an Undergraduate Student: If you have graduated in your major, STARS reports are no longer available for viewing on OASIS. You may request a transcript of your record at www.usc.edu/transcripts.
Also what does the restrictions mean on OASIS? Mine said Restrictions as of 02/04/2015. So confused!
@CCtransferSC The restrictions date right now would just mean that’s when they got your application. If you see it update to a more recent date, that means some type of action is happening and you should expect some type of decision. When you first access your stars report, it will have the date you first viewed. For example, if you saw it for the first time today, you will see “prepared 4/21/15” somewhere on the page.
@zettasyntax Thank you for the clarification! Your such a good asset to this thread!
@zettasyntax Thanks for clearing that up! Out of curiosity, are you familiar with anyone from last year’s thread being on the Trojan Transfer Plan?
@Mick96 Sorry, I don’t really remember any people from last year that were on the Trojan Transfer Plan. I’m sure there was quite a few, but I don’t recall interacting enough with any of them to remember.
@elmhsstudent Also in the same boat. My CC ends mid June.
Eight more days until till we enter into the month of May.
I feel that any day now they will start releasing decisions.
Ugh I just need to know already. I’ve gotten accepted into my other top choices (UMich and UNC) and I need to decide…
I just got a request for winter grades last week (I go to a school on the quarter system), does this mean I’m going to have a longggg wait until I find something out? I’ve already found out that I’ve been accepted to my other choice (chapman), it’s going to suck if I have to wait to hear back from USC until July.
I have a question: for the comitee who reads our applications, are they the academic advisors who make up the comitee or your academic counselor?
@daisy1996 I wouldn’t think that winter grades would take as long. It’s usually when they ask for spring grades that it can take a longgg time. I know a lot of people that received decisions in mid-July after getting an SGR. I don’t remember too many winter grade requests from last year, but I would think they’re faster
@Msmclagirl I read that your assigned academic counselor makes the case/fights for you in front of the committee if they really want you at USC, but I’ve never read much about that people that compromise the committee. Maybe somebody else knows :-\
Do you guys know if they release financial aid packages before acceptance decisions? Im also curios to see how much help id be getting.!
I got a Winter Grades Request from USC at about 6am this morning. Anyone else get something like this today, or recently?
guys im pretty sure they ask everyone on the quarter system for winter grades, its not the equivalent of getting an sgr
Yeah my counselor told me that whoever is on the quarter system will receive a winter grade request.
Has anyone’s “Restrictions” thing on OASIS changed to a more recent date lately? Mine still says Feb. 3rd.
