I applied for Dramatic Arts which means I applied way back in December. I am anxious to wait more… I know some people heard around this time last year… ugh USC When are you going to notify ussss!!!

are SGR’s necessarily a bad thing? I can’t tell if people on this thread are nervous because they got one or nervous because they haven’t. I haven’t gotten an e-mail or anything for one so I don’t know if it is something I should worry about.
@ajw14f SGR’s are not exactly a bad thing, they just want to see how did in the spring, naturally, an acceptance is more ideal than an SGR cuz SGRs require more waiting and there is a possibility that you will get rejected so they are not a bad thing. It’s like just being stuck in the middle for a while.

Apparently they are MBA, I hope so at least, if they are Undergrad I would be so depressed
@ForeverGymnast21 Everyone’s situation is different and I can’t give you a concrete answer (unfortunately). And who knows, things may change from year to year. You just really have to hope for the best.

Can we take summer classes at USC once we are admitted? I will finish my spring quarter in JUNE ! Do you guys think I will be able to take summer classes?
@Majeed10 You can’t, we all applied for Fall 2015 admission. So the first classes we’ll take are in the fall.
Guys I’m honestly really nervous. I sent in my application with only 15 units taken and this semester I’m taking another 16 units. My GPA (if I get the straight As) will come out to level 3.9+ but I still feel like I’m not a strong competitor amongst you guys. ):

Are the counselors serious when they mean they are releasing Marshall decisions on June 1st? Or are they lying to us lol ? (I’m a bit in denial right now) Its just if they are seriously releasing everything on June 1st then I have to waste money and SIR somewhere else to reserve my spot in case I get rejected. I thought decisions were kind of on a rolling basis…
@juniorwhooper101 Sort of, all the counselors give the same canned “by June 1” statement. This may sound harsh, but a lot of their statements are meaningless and are just to make sure they don’t over commit. I would trust last year more for when you expect a decision.
