@megamegss If it’s the same as last year, if you don’t see yellow bars in your stars graph and a neat filled out pie chart by the third day, then yes, an SGR or rejection. It typically took one or two days, tops.
@zettasyntax what are the graphs on the stars report supposed to look like?
@zettasyntax oh my goodness… okay… thanks man. i’ma go pray now lol
When you guys are referring to the stars report, do you mean the stars interactive audit report or stars report? My restriction still says 2/4/15…
@uuuuuughhhh Well they start out blank, but then you see long yellow bars and it looks like an actual bar graph that’s filled with information - same with the pie/circle chart. You also see your major on the page, so you see all kinds of changes when it’s filled out.
@rosyme We’ve been referring to the Stars Interactive Audit Report. I’m pretty sure the stars report fills out in a way too, but it was just a bunch of text, if I recall. The Interactive Audit Report one shows your major and how far along you are to getting a degree once you’ve been accepted. Your restriction date is still quite early, so they most likely haven’t made a clear decision for you yet.
@zettasyntax Thanks for clarifying. When I use chrome, my Stars Interactive Audit Report only shows the outline of the graph and just white. Are you using chrome or another browser? It works on safari tho.
@zettasyntax I feel like I am missing out since I can’t access oasis :)).
@rosyme I use Chrome, but I know that I always have to click on something that allows “unsafe” scripts and makes it show up on Chrome. I sometimes use Internet Explorer and it works just fine on there. I wonder why Chrome doesn’t like it
@invalid99 It’s probably for the best It might be less stressful not to have another thing you can constantly check.
@zettasyntax Mind if i ask your stats? As in your major? Current School? GPA?
@zettasyntax Good thing we have you to ease our worries. I wish USC would have a set day or even week for notifications…
ACCEPTED!!! Received in the mail today.
Transferring as a freshman
Major: Biological Sciences (pre-med)
Dornsife
Sure thing.
I’m applying as an anthropology or sociology major. I actually want to be a linguistics major, but I figure I might have a better chance with anthro since not many colleges have linguistics courses and I’ve taken five anthro courses.
I’m attending West Los Angeles College and East Los Angeles College.
My GPA is 3.95, but it was a 4.0 when I applied last year and was rejected.
@hokan10 Congrats sir! I feel like the biology school is just rolling out their decisions left and right :))
@hokan10 Congrats! It seems a lot of biology / medical peeps are hearing back and getting acceptances!
@hokan10 Congrats!!
I feel like many sophomores and certain majors are receiving SGR and acceptances first than compared to the junior transfers. Correct me if I’m wrong. That’s what i just noticed
@zettasyntax Well I hope you get in this time, UCSB, UCLA, and UCI denied me, I am still bitter about them but I am hoping that USC gives me a shot, if not I’ll just finish at PSU and relocate to Orange County.
@rosyme Yeah, it seems like music and medical major students have gotten most of the decisions. Bunch of sophomores too. Maybe that’s just how they’re doing it this year
congrats!!! that high school gpa doe…, how many credits ru currently on?
Wait I don’t understand this Oasis thing. First of all, how do you guys log in? Did you guys set up the password???
